The Apicella family has been cultivating the land for generations and until the early 1970s produced excellent table wine. The first vintage to be marketed is that of 1977, about 3000 bottles of Tramonti red wine, which start the Giuseppe Apicella winery and at thirty years of age of successes. Apicella is the historical brand of the viticulture of the Amalfi Coast. In 2004, to relive an ancient viticultural tradition, the S.v Francesco farm in Tramonti was born, the green heart of the Amalfi Coast. The farm covers about eight and a half hectares and produces wines from the grapes of three local historical families: the Bove, the D'Avino, the Giordano. The modern high-tech equipment of the winery was completed by the beginning of 2005. It is set in the ancient estate belonging to the Di Palma family, the current producers, who availing themselves of the expert professional advice of dr. Carmine Valentino from Avellino. In a historic Masseria of the '700 immersed in the green of the Parco dei Monti Lattari. The tasting begins with a visit to the historic pre-philloxera vineyards (300-500 years), the 17th century cellar, with TASTING wines from 3 DOC wines - Amalfi Coast - Tramonti combined with "panzanella" accompanied by fresh mozzarella and ricotta, cheeses seasoned and cured meats.

The history of our family winery began many years ago, initially with the construction of the agricultural building between 1820 and 1880, including the ancient cellar. In 1880 our great-grandfather, Lorenzo Basileo, began producing wines and created "La Cantina Basileo". These old and trusted methods continue today, including the harvesting of grapes by hand. Located at about 400 meters above sea level, the sloping terraces covered by traditional wooden pergolas show an environment in harmony with nature. The production of Basileo, all red wines, consists of: the first line called TERRAE MARIS containing "TINTORE" wine in a percentage lower than "Piedirosso" and finally, the third line formed by reserve, preserved in oak barrels. The tasting begins with a visit to the vineyard and the cellars to end with the tasting of three wines accompanied by autochthonous foods produced directly.
