The historic Ponte Vecchio, or Old Bridge, is perhaps the most recognized symbol of Florence after Brunelleschi’s soaring red dome topping the Duomo. The three lower arches of this 14th-century bridge span the Arno River at its narrowest point between the Palazzo Vecchio and the Pitti Palace, and a stretch of the famous Vasari Corridor runs along its top. Situated on street level, the Ponte Vecchio is lined with pocket-sized jewelry shops and packed with locals and tourists taking a stroll or snapping photos of the colorful palazzi lining the river bank.

Our bike tours will take you along off the beaten track, too far to walk and too narrow for a bus. In two hours, together with our official guides, you will visit the main points of interest in the city, including: Santa Maria Novella, the artisans' quarter, Palazzo Pitti, San Frediano, Ponte Vecchio, the Galleria degli Uffizi (the most important museum in the city), Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, the cathedral (the Duomo) and Piazza della Repubblica. During this pleasant excursion, you will discover all the curiosities about Florence and even the best places to savor the classic Florentine steak, ice cream and truffles. This tour is a simple but perfect introduction to Florence. We are sure that you will agree with us that the best way to get to know the "cradle of the Renaissance" is by bicycle. Pedal from the center to Piazzale Michelangelo where you can admire a panorama that will take your breath away.
