The Basics

Due to the Leaning Tower of Pisa's global renown and unstable subsoil, tickets to the 12th-century tower are strictly limited and visits are timed; booking in advance is a must and skip-the-line tickets are highly recommended.

All Pisa tours cover the Leaning Tower, generally depart from Florence or Rome, and often include other sites such as the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Piazza dei Cavalieri, which boast the sublime Pisa Baptistry and Duomo. Travelers short on time can combine a visit to Pisa with whistle-stop tours of Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, and Florence, all of which travel through the serene Tuscan countryside.

Pisa is a must see!
This was a great trip along the country side. I enjoyed the ride. We were in a nice van instead of a bhs. I suspect tourism has been down since Covid so it's just coming back. Pisa is a must must see!! We enjoyed it.

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Eloise was wonderful and shared so many interesting facts with us. Being able to go inside the Cathedral and walk up to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa were definitely highlights of this tour!

Explore Pisa City with Skip-The-Line Leaning Tower Climbing
David did an amazing job giving us the history of Pisa and showing us parts of town we wouldn’t normally visit. I enjoyed the stop at the Royal Victoria for the view and stepping back in time. The fast pass part of the ticket was fabulous fir the Leaning Tower and the cathedral. It was interesting without being overwhelming.

Skip the line: Tower of Pisa & Cathedral w/ Self-Guided Tour App
There was no skip the line provisiin or indication where I would get the audio guide. Basically, it was a simple self conducted tour without audiio guide.

A long walk…

Pisa from Florence afternoon Tour including Skip-the-Line Leaning Tower Ticket
Nothing special. It was a bus ride with a very short narrative on the cathedral. They parked quite far away and we had to walk 10-15 minutes to get to the tower. We could have just purchased train tickets and a direct tower ticket for half the price. Expect a long walk both ways is you book this.

Pisa from Florence afternoon Tour including Skip-the-Line Leaning Tower Ticket
It was good trip to see the leaning tower, which is most definitely worth seeing! You don’t get loads of time but enough to go inside cathedral & climb the tower & take the bucket list photos. Both tour guides were helpful & knowledgeable.

Leaning Tower of Pisa Entry Ticket
Booking covered a walk up to the top of the Learning Tower and Entrance to the Cathedral. Views of Pisa from the top were great. Make sure you take the opportunity to also visit the cathedral. Beautiful.

Worth it for the tower! The steps are very little and uneven when climbing to the top.....be careful.

What to do in Pisa

While the tilted tower is undeniably Pisa's most well-known attraction, the Tuscan city has plenty to offer curious visitors. Stop by the Romanesque Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral; visit the beautiful and well-curated Cathedral Museum; and don't miss the lush Orto Botanico, supposedly the first university botanical garden in Europe.
