This is the only tour that offers you the ability to make it to the top of the Pacaya Volcano sitting comfortably on an ATV. Once at the peak of the volcano we walk around the crater, cook some snacks from the heat coming out of the volcano and enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding nature. Once we drive down the volcano we also take you to the surrounding villages around the top of the volcano, a lava field, and we check out the large windmills found in the area. If you are looking to experience the adrenaline of Guatemalan volcanoes without too much physical effort, this tour is for you. This trip allows visitors to approach as much as possible to one of the Acatenango Volcano summits in a comfortable 4WD vehicle, and therefore you will only need to walk for approximately 1 and a half hours to the top. At the ̈Cruz ̈ we get a view of Antigua and the wonderful architecture of the city and the Volcanoes. We leave our ATVs parked and head to "Hobbitenango" in a van for sightseeing, great views, and various activities in this enchanted little forest. Our last stop is for lunch at a hidden mountain spot called "Earth Lodge", an avocado plantation with a restaurant and cabins and tree houses serving more casual fare like sandwiches, salads, and burgers to go with some fresh smoothies.
