Head to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Enjoy wine tasting at Bay of Shoal Wines while taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at either Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafood or Cactus Cafe, before heading to Kangaroo Island Spirits to experience some award winning gin. If time permits, we will stop at one more winery along the way before heading back to your accommodation.

When your cruise ship docks in Kingscote or Penneshaw, take a full-day shore excursion that shows you the best of Kangaroo Island’s local food and wine producers. Follow the Penneshaw coast to picturesque Pennington Bay, where you might spot dolphins and whales from the beach. Then stop at a number of local farms and shops to sample their goods, including a wine tasting with cheese platter, eucalyptus oil products, honey, cheese and yogurt from a local dairy, and a lavender farm where you nibble scones served with tea or coffee.

This tour departs from Penneshaw, American River and Kingscote hotels, and you will need to select your departure option at time of booking.

FULL DAY ITINERARY: The first stop on your journey will be Dudley Wine. Here you will find a selection of their quality wine and soak up the spectacular view across Backstairs Passage. A short drive up the road will take you to False Cape Wines. The rustic charm and idyllic setting among the gum trees and vineyard makes this cellar door a great place for a glass of wine and homemade pies and platters! We will then travel back to Cygnet River , "Capital of the Wine Industry" in Kangaroo Island. Here we will visit The Islander Estate at Cygnet River and taste the only 5-star James Halliday rated wines of the the island. We will visit the cellar door at Spring Roads Wines. Their vineyard was established in 1994 on a small sheep property about 7km west of Kingscote. We will then travel back to Kingscote and we will stop at Bay of Shoals Wines, overlooking the picturesque vineyards and sheltered bay. After an enjoyable day, we will take you back to your hotel, or to the Airport/Ferry
