He spen additional time educating us of the vegetation along the way as wel as the wild life. Amazing experience! He even stopped to help us find us a Sloth on way back! Absoluetly worth it!!"

"The best thing we did! This is a very sweet family owned company. The group was small, and our guide had so much knowledge to share with us. The boat ride is the perfect way to start the morning, tons of animals. He was so good at spotting them, and shared binoculars with the group. The waterfall was absolutely stunning, but if you are out of shape, give yourself enough time to get back up the stairs! The Arenal hike was less strenuous than I thought it would be, and very worth it! The highlight of the tour though, lunch with the family. I so value a home cooked meal, and it was amazing to get this experience. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or a family, BOOK THIS TOUR GROUP!!"

Don Juan facilities were fun to see and experience, and we enjoyed learning about how they grow and process the coffee and chocolate. We especially enjoyed making chocolate and tasting all the coffee and chocolate varieties. They have a very nice fire shop where we purchased a lot of coffee, chocolate and souvenirs."

"We reserved our tour the day before as a filler before we headed to the hot springs. It turned out fantastic. We were in a small group and our guide took us through their plantation and gave us a great history on the evolution of chocolate. The special treat was grinding our own beans and taking away our own chocolate treats!"
