The Basics

If you’re heading to the beaches of West Maui to surf or sunbathe, chances are you’ll pass through the chilled-out town of Lahaina. Take some time to relax here on the popular Kaanapali beach, where you can also swim or snorkel, or head to Lahaina harbor for snorkel tours and whale-watching expeditions.

You can also head to Napili Beach, which is known for its good surf, and sign up for surf lessons or watch the sunset on a sleek catamaran. In the evening, make your way to Lahaina’s Front Street’s restaurants, or attend a traditional Luau.

Sunrise Special 1.5 Hour Whale Watch Tour from Lahaina Harbor
Great morning seeing and hearing about whales. The Captain was very knowledgeable and friendly as well as her whale expert. They both were happy to answer all of our questions. They showed best respect for the whales and also for safety of all on board.

4-Hour Lanai Snorkel Dolphin Express Tour from Lahaina Harbor
We booked with a small operator hoping that we would be snorkeling separate from the big people crowded boats. The weather was bad so we didn’t get to Lanai (not their fault) but we ended up snorkeling where everyone else went. There was little to see as everything was scared. HOWEVER, we then went and watched the FIRST WHALE CALF OF THE SEASON, and went and watched the TURTLE CLEANING STATION. Great recovery! Sara was a great deck hand!!!

Lanai Snorkel and Dolphin Watch from Lahaina
Seeing the spinner dolphins on the way back to Lahaina. The snorkeling was good and the staff was very polite. They had life guards out in the water with you which made me feel safe especially with kids.

Maui Sunset Dinner and Dance Cruise from Lahaina Harbor
The music was nice, we got to see whales, experience the sunset cruise, ad the food was good. The prime rib was excellent albeit cold, but you’re on open seas, it’s to be expected. Carrots and little potatoes were good. Cheese cake was very good. Mai tai was good. Overall, staff and the whole experience was worth doing!

Had some motor issues with the boat..15 min. Into the tour...they were gracious enough to give us the option to schedule on another vendors boat and gave us a full refund...class act...would definitely use these folks again.
