Your private tour departs Melbourne bright and early with our sights set on beating the crowds at the Great Ocean Roads, famous 12 Apostles. Here we enjoy a 1km stroll along the boardwalk while appreciating the limestone stacks and stunning views. Our next spectacular scene, Gibson Steps, offers a unique 70m cliffside pathway down to the beach. Enjoy the privacy of this beautiful beach and take all the time you need to get the perfect shot. Next up, it’s time for a delicious lunch at our favourite local cafe before heading to the Great Otway National Park. Enjoy a magical 3km hike through ancient rainforests of thick ferns and large myrtle beech to arrive at the beautiful Beauchamp Falls—a 20metre waterfall that the bigger bus companies don’t visit. We visit the giants of the forest at the Californian Redwoods before continuing our drive along the iconic Great Ocean Road to the tranquil village of Apollo Bay and Kennett River; home to native koalas, king parrots and kangaroos.

Private Wilsons Promontory Hiking Tour from Melbourne

We arrive at Wilson's Prom for our first hike for the day. A short walk leads us through beautiful terrain to the Big Drift Wilsons Promontory sand dunes; a peaceful and other-worldly landscape often missed by other visitors to “the Prom”. After you’ve captured plenty of pictures of the dunes, we take a short drive to the general store for lunch before our main hike for the day, Mt Oberon. We embark on a 6.8 km return hike to the famous Mt Oberon's summit to soak up the best coastal views in Victoria. Our next stop is Tidal River for a cheeky ice cream (you’ve earned it) before we head to Squeaky Beach. Wander on the incredibly white rounded grains of quartz, and you’ll soon find out how this popular local beach got its name. Finally, as we depart the National Park, we make one final stop to see our furry native friends, including Wombats, Emus, Kangaroos and Wallabies going about their daily business. It’s a beautiful way to end the day.

Melbourne to Adelaide South East Coast 3 Day Overland Tour
"Loved our 3 day adventure with Bec! We were looking to get out and see some of Australia's country and wildlife and this tour delivered. Having 3 days to really explore and enjoy the views both on the coast and hiking in the Grampians was a highlight of our trip to Australia. It is really special to see the Koalas, Kangaroos, wallabies and Emus out in their natural environment. The accommodation, while a bit more rustic than we are accustomed to, was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the well planned itinerary and pit stops along the way. We never felt that we were too long or too short on time anywhere, or too long on the bus. Highly recommend this tour for anyone with a sense of adventure and wanting to really see Australia, rather than just the big cities."..."
