Minneapolis Half Day City Tour - Walking

Minneapolis Half Day City Tour - Walking

star-5

Welcome to my Minneapolis! This is where I grew up and the city that keeps me coming back no matter where I roam. As an international tour guide, I spend a lot of my time excitedly researching and traveling to far flung destinations. It is with this same enthusiasm for foreign lands that I created this unique day tour of my hometown, which includes just some of the things I find remarkable about the city. This isn't a tour of historical facts and figures, instead, I want you to get to know Minneapolis by experiencing it! (Please note, this is a walking tour. You should be able to walk at least a mile. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.)

"Crooked" St. Paul Gangsters Private Riding Tour (2 hrs)

star-5
1
We'll connect at a location and hour convenient for you and step back in time during this private, 2-hour riding tour. You'll hear how St. Paul, Minnesota became a haven for the nation's most notorious gangsters, including John Dillinger, during the first decades of the 20th Century, and the impact of that legacy on life today in the "Saintly City. " How could bank robbers and bootleggers run their crimes while "hiding in plain sight"? This private riding tour will show the homes, nightclubs, hangouts - and even the courthouse - where these professional thugs lived, planned, played and were prosecuted. We'll also see other St. Paul highlights, including Summit Ave, cathedral and Capitol. Want to entertain locals or out-of-towners? Old enough to remember those lurid headlines or young enough to be amazed? Ready for a new twist on a town you thought you knew? This tour is for you. Transportation for this tour is provided in a professionally chauffeured "black car" sedan or SUV.

Historic Minneapolis Riverfront Private Walking Tour

Historic Minneapolis Riverfront Private Walking Tour

star-5

On your 2-hour fully narrated experience you’ll stroll along, and across, the Mississippi River in the footsteps of people like railroad tycoon James J Hill, once the richest man in Minnesota. He made his fortune as the river rushed through the heartland, tumbled down a magnificent waterfall, and powered dozens of mills as a rapidly thriving community grew up around it. Your tour guide will delight you with stories of epic rivalries, world domination, quiet hidden corners, boom town brothels, and European explorers as you traverse 350 years of recorded history. Once the flour-milling capital of the world, modern-day Minneapolis thrives on its founding principles of hard work, innovation, and ingenuity. See how historic structures are repurposed for modern use, while retaining the charm and flair of past golden ages. This is the Minneapolis we bring you back to: the Minneapolis of sawdust, extreme wealth, immigrants, brewers, and nature. This is the best sightseeing experience in town!
