Great tour organisers

Croc Express to Australia Zoo from Gold Coast
Australia Zoo was amazing and a must see place. The tour was neatly organised and the pick up was on time. Our suggestion for the tour organisers are 1. They could provide water bottles on the couch 2. There could be at least one pee pee stop / or rest rooms

Reliable on time and polite driver. Just a little disappointed with the bus. It was a little old and windows fogged up. Radio would have be nicer for the 1 hour drive but otherwise doable. Australia zoo awesome.

The warrior show was very enjoyable and watching the elephants feed. Impressed with the size and cleanliness of the zoo. My wife and I had a great time there.

Such a good deal. Great day out, they were on time and your ticket is included! I know for me being a student, my ticket itself was $50 so paying $15 for each way there and having the ticket be included is such a steal. Highly recommend. But lunch isn’t included.

Zoo is amazing and it’s definitely the easiest way to get there. The bus was small meaning not many other people so it was nice

In love with Australia Zoo

Croc Express to Australia Zoo from Brisbane
We had a terrific day at the Australia Zoo, which pays homage to the late wonderful Steve Irwin. The show at the Crocoseum was fun, but the best parts of this facility are its layout, its tremendous array of animals, its cleanliness and even the food was great! We were picked up a block away from our hotel and our driver gave us some interesting facts on the way there. We loved it!

When to Get There

The Australia Zoo is open daily year-round, but the busiest time is in summer (December and January) or during school holidays. To avoid the crowds, opt for a weekday visit off-season. If traveling by car, arrive early and head straight to the most popular exhibitions before the crowds roll in.

Animal Experiences at the Australia Zoo

In addition to Aussie animals such as kangaroos, koalas, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, and platypus, the Australia Zoo features fauna from other regions: rhinos, giraffes, and cheetahs in an African savanna exhibition; Sumatran tigers at the tiger temple (which also includes an incredible underwater observatory); and elephants in the colossal Elephantasia exhibition. There’s also a Wildlife Warriors show held daily at the Crocoseum, a birds of prey display, and various options for supervised animal encounters and zoo tours.
