"Highly recommend this experience. Got picked up in Oaxaca by Cesar and drove to a house and workshop in a small village. Here, we chose our models and started painting our alebrijes. Could get inspiration from the family’s shop. We then had a talk from the owner of the workshop about how he makes them and how his grandfather had started it. It felt like we were supporting a small business and local family, rather than our money going to one of the many large tour companies. Cesar was an excellent host and gave us lots of local knowledge and helped us while painting with any questions we had. This experience is totally worth the money and you get to take home your own alebrije (can also buy more from their shop if you want but there was no pressure!)."

"Our driver, "Nacho", arrived perfectly on time and even came up to our hotel room to help bring our 3 suitcases down to load into the car. He was very professional and friendly. He was a gentleman who always opened the door for my wife, and he was courteous throughout our entire trip. The vehicle was very nice, extremely clean, and spacious, hand sanitizer was provided. Nacho was a very safe driver and made us feel comfortable throughout our long trip. He also was very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas, and it was obvious he had driven this trip many times and knew the roads and terrain very well. Never at any point did we feel unsafe. The drive was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. At one point, we were above the clouds! The mountains are stunning, lush and green, with gorgeous flora and fauna everywhere, and the air was crisp, clean, and cool. There was air condition used for most of the trip, but driving through the mountains, it was not necessary, and it was so nice to breathe the mountain air! We stopped for a coffee and pastry mid-way at a nice place with clean restrooms. Nacho really took the stress out of what could be a stressful trip due to the distance and winding roads. We arrived at the beach safe and sound with no issues and got to see a very beautiful part of Mexico driving from Oaxaca City through the jungle and mountains that not many people ever get to experience! I highly recommend this company for this drive!"
