What people are saying about Horseback Riding in Oaxaca

star-5
Sunset Eco Horse Tour in Mazunte
"This was an experience I will never forget! I’m a solo traveler and I’ve never ridden a horse before. Nicolas was an amazing guide, teacher and horse trainer. He had me trotting in no time. The sunset was epic, as was the ride back under the stars (literally a million stars and constellations). Nicolas is amazing with the horses - he actually raises them. We talked a lot about their lifestyle, their diet, how much exercise they need daily - I learned a ton. He was also an awesome photographer! I got to meet his wife and sweet daughter as well, very seeet family who loves the horses very much. They arranged a ride to and from Puerto Escondido for me and I also had the best tacos with my driver Boris. Highly recommend this excursion to Mazunte and make sure you ask for Nicolas and Boris!"..."

"I had an amazing experience! My best day while staying in Mazunte. The horses were so good, the sunset was spectacular and our guide was so so nice (and a great photographer too)! We galloped on the beach, swam and had a lovely time. I would 100% go again."..."

Horseback Riding on the Beach
"Absolutely wonderful trip in the most beautiful surroundings. Everything was perfect. We rode through fields, across a river (the horses swam over while we got a boat) with mountains as a backdrop until we reached the beach. We stopped there to eat in a small restaurant while we watched the sun go down over the Pacific ocean. Our guide Juan Carlos was fantastic giving us advice on riding western style, information about the flora and fauna and providing hats, bandanas, beer and water where needed. Fully recommend this trip."..."

Montealban tour, plus craft workshops in the Ocotlan Valley
"Tour and guide was superb. His background in archeology enhanced our experience. His knowledge and explanations were not notch. Don Rosalio Felix treated my family and myself with courtesy and a deep regard for someone seeking knowledge beyond cursory and superficial facts about the people, place and events at Monte Alban. Without reservation I recommend the operator of this tour. On a closing note, Mr. Felix even accommodated our need for cool refreshments on what was a hot and very sunny August day. Truly a scholar and a gentleman."..."
