Excellent time
The tour guides were very helpful and organized. They mixed in some history and cultural tidbits between the yummy food. One of the best tours I took in Paris.

Le Marais District & Jewish Quarter Guided Walking Tour - Semi-Private 8ppl Max
Martel, is very knowledgeable and passionate about Le Marais district and Jewish quarter. We have a wonderful time even though we are only 2 during the tour, and despite the rain Paris is wonderful. We highly recommend Martel and the Babylon tour for the job well done. Definitely we will be using the company again in the near future! Au revoir!!!

Great food tour with Charles. Had plenty of food, wine and discussion of the city’s history. Enjoyed the diversity of food and wine we tried. Did not need to eat dinner afterward. Would highly recommend!

Le Marais Private Walking Tour with a Local, Explore its Old World Charm ★★★★★
During the 3 hours of the tour, we found out places and got information about the city and Marais which we might have known reading a lot. We really tasted the vibe of Marais and how the district moved on during the centuries.

When to Get There

Le Marais is a lively place any day of the week, but many museums are closed on Mondays. The quietest time for shopping and sightseeing is on weekday mornings (many shops don’t open until 9am or 10am, so don’t arrive too early), but the neighborhood is most atmospheric at night, when the bars and restaurants are filled.
