I love what I do. I love wine, the beauty of Oregon and the gentleness of Pinot Noir … all the things you’ll discover and learn as we spend the day together getting to know what makes Willamette Valley so unique.

I’ll take you to boutique-style wineries where you’ll have authentic experiences, learn how wine is made, specific attributes of how weather effects grape growing, learn how certain wines compliment different foods and sometimes the chance to meet the winemaker.

We’ll discover the magnificence of the rolling hills and vistas that make this area a destination. You’ll get to know and enjoy some of the types of wine grown in the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas. If you have a favorite winery that you’d like to visit, my tour is customizable. Let’s talk!

The 85-mile (137-km) long Columbia Gorge NSA would be a national park if it weren't a critical transportation corridor. It features waterfalls, mountains, monoliths, terraces, resort towns, vineyards, orchards, and The River, harboring a plethora of fish and birds, and a community of plants and invertebrates that changes dramatically going from the west end to the east end. Overlapping this is the Columbia Gorge AVA, the lovechild of the Columbia Valley and Willamette Valley AVAs. You will get intimate with The Gorge through hiking, wine tasting, and a visit to the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum. Your guide will teach you about the natural history, cultural history, and wine background of the area. Tasting the Gorge by Ebike
"Tl;dr The tour rocked; the tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable; the views were spectacular; you can't beat wine and cheese. I scheduled this tour as a birthday gift. Having not done something like this before, I didn't know what to expect. At booking, I sent a message to Megan asking if we could bring our (well-behaved) dog, and she was totally fine with it! We brought our dog trailer with us, but it didn't end up fitting the provided bikes. Megan was awesome enough to run back to her home and bring her cargo bike which fit the dog swimmingly. We were very grateful and the dog got to tag along for the ride! Because of certain world events, I've been a major couch potato of late, but the electric bikes made everything a breeze. We went up and down some major hills, and I got to choose how much of a workout I wanted to put my legs through. We opted for the additional hike with a picnic, and I was able to (slowly) get up to the top, even after all that biking. At the top of the hike, we had an excellent spread with a local red blend wine from a Vineyard we passed along the way. We sat with a great view of the gorge while eating and learning about the area. Something to know: Street parking in Hood River is paid Mon-Sat. We parked in a max 3 hours location, but due to some luck, we were able to extend it beyond that. Sunday has free parking."..."
