Diving in Dos Ojos, The Bat and The Pit Cenotes from Riviera Maya
1
The Mexican peninsula of Yucatan is known for the longest underwater cave system in the world with more than 6,000 cenotes.
Enjoy amazing underwater world of 3 most interesting cenotes in Mexico.
Dos Ojos is one of the most interesting and beautiful cenote systems in Mexico. Thanks to its magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, you will have the impression that nature has been created over millions of years.
The water is exceptionally clear thanks to the rainwater filtered through the limestone, and this cenote is incredibly clean because the limestone is very pure. In 2002, this underwater cave system was presented in the film “Journey into Amazing Caves”.
The Pit is one of the most complex cenotes in Mexico. The entrance to the cenote is 10 metres in diameter and widens as it descends.
At a depth of 25 to 32 metres, you will find a cloud of hydrogen sulphide. This is the deepest part of the Dos Ojos system. Rumour has it that the depth of this cenote is 120 metres.

Advanced Open Water Diver course PADI in Playa del Carmen
1
This course is designed to advance your diving. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.
According to National Geographic, water covers more than 70% of the surface of our planet and only 2 to 5% of the oceans have been studied. There are more than 2.2 million species of organisms living in the oceans, of which only 194,400 are known. The advantage of carrying out this certification in Mexico is the great diversity of diving sites present. There are millions of animals, plants, caves and cenotes that can only be seen in Mexico.
Advanced Open Water Diver is the second level of certification. This worldwide certificate allows you to dive up to 30 meters. This 2-day course includes a theoretical and a practical part with 5 dives in the sea or in the cenotes.
