Spend some time on Carillo beach, and get into the bay on some stand up paddleboards (SUPs). If you want a good workout, paddle all the way across from bay to bay, or alternatively just relax and check out the beautiful water. Snorkeling equipment is also available to borrow. This is about a three hour trip, where water, soda, and snacks are provided.

Samara isn’t just about beach life—there is plenty of biodiversity to be found in the surrounding mangrove forests, too. With a local guide, take a standup paddleboard along the Ora River to Camaronal Beach. Learn about the flora and fauna endemic to the area, and ask questions about local life. Snacks and beverages will be waiting for you back onshore.
