Rio Celeste river waterfall, hike and hot springs tour from San Jose, Costa Rica
"Overall we enjoyed our time during this excursion. The day before our trip the tour company reached out to us to let us know that due to rain in the area, Rio fe Celeste will be a chocolate color. So we did not go to the Arenal Volcano area. However they were able to take us another park with two waterfalls next to each other. Our tour started when the tour guide, Mr. Sunshine, picked us up at the hotel. Mr. Sunshine was friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. We stopped at a local coffee shop for coffee and great views. We then made our way to our first stop, La Paz Waterfall. On the way to the waterfall you make some pit stops for photos. The walk to the waterfall is very light. I would recommend bringing water shoes as once you arrive to the waterfall it can be slippery. The water was cold but definitely worth a dip. After the waterfall we stopped at the Hot Springs which is basically two Jacuzzis and a pool. This is where you will also have a delicious lunch. after your dip, the tour guide will drop you off at the pick up location."..."
