Cycle on forest trails and quiet roads to Punta Laguna, a nature reserve known for its population of wild monkeys and tropical birds. Canoe on a lake, zip line over the water, and meet a local Mayan family living off the grid. An excellent value for the money, you get several adventures for the price of one.

Sian Ka'an Biosphere Tour
"I 100% recommend this tour that will take you to the reserve rather than driving there. 1. You will not get the same experience otherwise and 2. Most importantly, it cannot be understated how bad the road there is. It’s 46 km from Tulum and it takes them, who drive it daily, 2 hours to drive halfway then took a boat the rest of the way. It will take you much longer and you highly risk damaging your car. They have jeeps and off-road capable toyota Van to take you to the boat. The guide is very entertaining. He makes it entertaining throughout including the ride there and back. Very informative about the place and the indigenous Mayans in Punta Allen that will feed you lunch. Alcohol is extra at the restaurant, so bring pesos. We got to snorkel in the reef and saw many creatures including sea turtles, dolphins, and crocodile (don’t worry you will not swim with them. They are more in the lagoon not the reef)."..."

"Siegfried was our tour guide and we ( myself and my boyfriend) had an excellent experience! It first started with clear and prompt communication on the where to meet details and also they were very accommodating when we needed to start the tour an hour earlier. We biked to Cenote Cristal and Escondido. Since we were where there on a Sunday and the waters were not as clear due to the rains we had the place to ourselves! We aren't super active swimmers so we were content to soak in the views and tranquility. Siegfried allowed us to relax and didn't push us beyond our comfort levels. After the cenotes we biked to lunch and enjoyed a delicious authentic meal. Siegfried was great company and we talked about many things and he also gave recommendations for other areas and activities we could do. Overall it was a great time spent! Loved having the intimate experience and loved the price of the tour!"..."
