UNUSUAL tour of Turin for curious people
27
This tour is focused on the past and present beauty of Turin in terms of architecture, curious stories and Turin's lifestyle for those who want to understand the charme of this (still) underrated city, under the magic of the evening lights or in the lively afternoon.
Turin is also a smart and easy day trip from Milan by train (1h15m journey, fares from €20 round trip).
We'll focus on my favorite area, the Medieval/Roman district, with its cobblestone streets and picturesque houses, the market and its hidden gems, the oldest part of Turin and where real people live. With me you'll see a less touristic face of Turin, not easy to discovery on your own, far from the usual highlights. With an attention to detail that all tourists miss.
Don't expect to just walking and listening: get ready to chat, ask questions and discuss Turin's past, present and future, far beyond the surface, on a trip from 2022 to 15 BC.
I suggest this tour if you want to understand the city with a NATIVE Art and Cinema historian, born and raised in Turin, who knows many intriguing anecdotes and unique places that you couldn't otherwise find on your own.
My style is ironical, informal and interactive: forget about the guides with the umbrella, their list of dates and big groups, because I want to give 100% of my time and attention to everyone. Consider me your witty LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide!
To get an idea of why this tour is the most popular and the most imitated in Turin, take a look at the website link in my profile at the (already more than 500) reviews, all positive, of those who have done it before you.
At the end of the visit, you will see Turin with different eyes and you will not have missed anything that alone you could not have found or fully appreciated. It is an investment of time and money that makes the difference, not only in my opinion, but also in the first place by those who have done it before you.
Consider that even the Turinese themselves book this visit to really get to know the city, in an unprecedented way or even as a gift for family members, friends, ecc. Who are regularly crazy about it, because living in a city is not enough to get to know it thoroughly and more in a curious and intriguing way.
Possible schedules: 2 / 6 / 9pm.
