Small Group Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf Hideaway Tour from Adelaide

Our tour guide was born and bred in South Australia. He was friendly and alot of fun!! His knowledge of Adelaide was great and we were very comfortable with all the places he took us and the experiences he showed and took us to! Highly recommended!

The guide was lovely and very helpful and the tour in general was nice. However, we were not informed until the day that the cheese stop would not be available. Understandable that things happen and perhaps it was last minute change, but no alternatives were offered. Also, a friend had specific dietary requirements (coeliac)which was communicated well in advance, however on the day it was difficult to sort out her meal which caused a bit of frustration. Perhaps the restaurant could offer more options. The only other room for improvement would be that the guides please include some first nation history in their narrative of Adelaide History. There was much said about the German settlement and their loss of history and culture as a result of the war, but nothing mentioned about the cultural, history and language loss of the genocide of the first nation people of the area. Other than that, the wineries were great and staff at both were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. They answered all the questions and showed us how to taste the wine for different elements. The tasting options at both wineries offered a good variety!

The whole day was sensational We covered interesting landmarks and scenery, local produce tastings and learnt a bit about the area. Hahndorf is a delightful stop for lunch too! Would love to go again and will definitely recommend it

Your a good blend of local produce and wine. Time to walk through Hahndorf after lunch and appreciated the drive home away from the highway. Well done to the guide

My friend and I had the pleasure of having the tour to ourselves. It was absolutely great . Very informative, beautiful scenery, lovely guide and very comfortable. I highly recommend, the lunch is so delicious, and It's included In the price. You get plenty of time to explore and there is so much to see in Hahndorf. The wine tasting was great. The chocolate shop is delicious, I so wish I brought more chocolate. We also did a quick whiskey and gin tasting too. I highly recommend, you will feel comfortable, the van is clean and spacious, plenty of cleaning goods if you need. Do yourself a favour and BOOK!!!

The whole day was wonderful. Danny was friendly and knowledgeable from start to finish and we got a comfortable amount of time at each location. The food and wines were all lovely, although Nepenthe winery was my personal favourite! Great value, highly recommend!

Good tour to the Adelaide Hills. We went through some pretty towns and in particular Hahndorf which is filled with quaint shops. Our lunch included in the tour was at The German Arms - food and service there was excellent and well worth a visit. We also visited two wineries for wine tasting a chocolate factory and stopped at a lookout spot. Our driver was great and gave us some interesting facts about the region as he drove us around. Scored the trip as Very Good rather then Excellent as we only went to 2 wineries instead of 3 and we missed out on visiting the advertised cheese maker as it was still closed when we got there.
