Rijksmuseum Amsterdam & 1-Hour Canal Cruise

Must do and see. Plan 3-4 hours to comfortably see everything. Be sure to acquirer the media head set to listen to the fabulous information on a very large number of displays.

Museum was excellent however the canal cruise tickets had to be validated at a location miles away from the museum making them essentially worthless. This wasn’t clear in the package details. The cruise is not located next to the museum at all and cannot be schedule except in person at an office miles away. Ridiculous and a waste of money because we couldn’t organize it under these conditions. Skip this package and just do either one separately

There was not enough informations on the site, however with some phone calls we did get the informations we wanted. It would be better when all the infos would be listed with the voucher you buy. (Where to redeem your 1 hour canal cruise tickets? Which company are you working with?)

Could not find the canal cruise. Did not have a contact phone # for tour operator. System is set up so you have to have one of 3 reasons for contacting them or you cannot do so; obviously not customer friendly!! And it is not clear from the beginning that you do not need to participate in the canal cruise to get your museum tickets.

The fact that the cruise is no where near the museum and the whole thing is very confusing and misleading……a real disappointment not to say rip-off!

Although advertised as no refunds allowed we were unable to travel to Amsterdam due to the Netherlands blocking Americans from entering unless a 10-day quarantine requirement was met. From the quarantine announcement to our tour date there were less than 10 days so it was impossible to for us to make the tour. Despite the Netherlands preventing us from entering the country the tour operator was unwilling to issue a refund. I would not recommend this tour operator.

Very good price. The canal cruise is totally worth it, especially in the evenings. You'll have an audio guide and nearly no waiting time. Booking the canal cruise ticket was a bit complicated because you had to go to a tickets and tours shop near Amsterdam central station to book a time slot. Rijksmuseum was amazing too and is a must see!

This was the worst customer service! At first we could not even locate their office near the museum--we had to ask another tour office. After the museum, we we walked to try and locate Dock A and walked across the city--literally! We were told to go to Central station, which we did. We got there and saw a sign for Love Canal tours--walked down to the area, but no cruise boat was there. Another customer was also waiting. We were exhausted from going through the crowds (it was extremely crowded due to pride week) and decided to wait until the next day. I sent messages via chat, but there was no response. The next day, we did find one office that was open and were told that we were supposed to go to dock B, not A--which again, was very far away. We ended up leaving Amsterdam without going on a cruise. When I looked at some of the reviews I see that most people were not very impressed so I guess we did not miss much. As I said the customer service was awful-- No wonder this was offered with the museum--it needed help. the museum was wonderful and too bad we stopped our tour without seeing all of it just to search for this Love Canal cruise. I asked for a partial refund since we never made the cruise, but they said the boat left the area as indicated on the map.

Worked out well. Boat trip was very close to our hotel and you should check this out before booking.There was no line at the Rijk Museum

There were really no lines to skip but having the ticket reduced worry. The canal cruise was no where near the museum. Had to go all the way to central station area and then got bounced around until we found the right quay. That was unexpected and time consuming.
