Lovely! Our guide has lived in this area since a child. He detoured us past a field of bluebells. They just happened to be blooming and only lasts a few weeks. Tour was small in size which makes the day much more enjoyable!!

I would recommend this trip in a heartbeat. Being on a smaller coach is absolutely the way to do tours in England! Getting to Stonehenge early is now a must, especially during school holidays. I love the fact that I did not have to stand in a queue to purchase tickets that this was already taken care of by the tour. We were able to get to Stonehenge first, see the majestic stones, and then head back to the gift shop - grabbing a quick bite to eat before getting back on that coach. From there there was just so much beauty to see. Going to Yves Berry to see more stone formations, going to the Lacock and then ending the picture perfect day at Castle Combe. The tour was an absolute delight. Sean, our tour guide, was brilliant. A wealth of knowledge and wonderful humor. Mad Max Tours for the win!

It was great. We were greeted on time by a very nice guide, had a comfortable bus, a nice group. On the way we got informations of the places we were going to see. What we saw was beautiful beyond words. If we wanted we could wander around with the guide or alone. We wanted to get more infos so we stayed with him. There was not one minute we didn’t enjoy. I traveled with my son and the tour was as interesting for him as for the older people of the group.

Arriving at Stonehenge when they first open in the morning made it a moving experience rather than the overrun touristy nightmare it could have been later in the day. I personally would have enjoyed more time to explore Avebury since it’s a much larger site. Lunch options in Lacock were nice.

Our guide Barry had great local knowledge and kept everything running smoothly. We were able to focus on enjoying the wonderful cultural landscape of England. The small group size was perfect as we were not bringing our own crowd along. We were able to enjoy the cultural attractions at our leisure. Nick, driving the cozy vehicle where I felt warmth and comfort, was one of the amazing tour guides I have ever met. He brought us a helpful folder of information and most importantly explained his research on the tour sites. And sometimes he made jokes on what he had to say. Excellent tour with Nick as our knowledgeable guide. So fun to hear little tidbits and anecdotes. Also appreciated the guided walking tours that he offered in the various locales. Only change we would make is to make Avebury the longer “lunch” stop and thus shorten the Lacock stop appropriately.

Great tour of Stonehenge and the Cotswolds! We got to Stonehenge before anybody else and had amazing photos with no people in them!! Our tour guide Kevin was great and often walked around with us if we wanted and told us about different places in the town and also pointed out where movie scenes were filmed. Some tour members walked around on their own as that was an option as well. We would definitely recommend this tour! Also our 10 and 13 yr Olds loved it!

Amazingly well-paced tour across the countryside of western England. I loved each part of it and our tour guide was quick to solve any problems that came up (lots of road blocks that day haha). The bus was clean and nice, driving was safe, communication was clear. It was much more relaxed and self-guided than I was anticipating, but I liked that personally.

Richard was the perfect tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, congenial, and with a sense of humour. Everything you want in a guide and more. He even managed to arrange for the rain to stop!!! Everything ran like clockwork, we saw everything as advertised with plenty time to explore and enjoy the sites, with a lovely stop for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Bath.
