  • Heliport and helicopter are wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair lift is available at base to assist boarding.
  • Children 23 months and younger are complimentary and considered a lap child.
  • Check-in is 45 minutes prior to tour time. You will receive confirmation of tour time after booking. Late arrivals may not be accepted and non-refundable.
  • For each guest weighing 240 pounds (108 kg) or more, an adjacent empty seat is required to safely balance the aircraft. The second seat charge is half off of the regular tour price. Please arrange your additional seat after booking.
  • Tour sights vary depending on weather.
  • Gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.

  • Infants must sit on laps
  • You must wear dark colored clothing so not to reflect in photos.

Very weather dependent in a place that rains a lot

Our first flight got cancelled due to rain & clouds; were able to try afternoon one but although rain had stopped, still cloudy so we were warned we won't see the volcano as helicopters can't fly below clouds. Extremely disappointing. We were offered a refund, but half the reason to do this was the helicopter ride so we went. That was a mistake, made worse in that seat #6 (behind pilot, seated by passenger weights) sees nothing but ocean the whole time the guide is talking on the way toward the volcano, and pilot didn't repeat his tour on the way back. Felt like seat 6 should get a discount. Guide wasn't terrific like all the others either. Wasted a full day & money.

The company itself was a 3 star called the day before flight made us move our flight and then said we had to pay additional money due to weight issues even though when i booked it i told them the weight was above the level but the our pilot wesely was a 5 star had great knowledge and made the flight fun and informational even though we couldnt do the ring of fire part of the tour due to weather

I love flying in a helicopter, but this trip was especially nice. The scenery, well it's Hawaii, of course it's outstanding. For this ride, the pilot was great!!!!! And the ground crew were also great. You should definitely go on this if you are on the Big Island!!!

The guy after us yelling at the lady at the desk b/c his tour was cancelled. Our tour was cancelled too and we had to wait around for 3.5 hours for another tour. Way over-priced. Disappointed.

The view is spectacular. To see the depth of the crater is breathtaking. No matter where you sat the pilot made sure everyone had a close view The pilot was amazing; friendly and very knowledgeable on the ecology but most of all the history lesson on Hawaii was for me the icing on the cake.

Loved this tour. Flying over volcanoes and seeing so many rainbows. Never have a seen a complete circular rainbow until this tour. The pilot and staff were awesome. I would not think twice about doing this tour again. One of the highlights of our stay on the Big Island
