After entering the Park, and passing the booths, the first building on the right is the Visitor Center, look for a Mercedes van that says Big Island VIP.

What a great tour of Volcanoes Nat’l Park. Rob was awesome. Good guy, incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful in recommending other must-do’s on the Big Island. The early-morning start to our day made the experience…seeing the lava flow with clarity was amazing. The other stops on the tour was beautiful and interesting as well. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

A guide is totally worth it

We could have wandered around the Volcanoes National Forest ourselves, but we wouldn’t have known what we were looking at, learned any history about the volcanoes, or heard any Hawaiian folk tales. We loved it, and Skylar was a great guide. We followed our tour with lunch at the Volcanoes restaurant which was a really cool spot and left with plenty of mementoes of our trip.

We had a great time and are so glad we did a tour in the end. We learned so much more than we would have on our own, got to see a lot and having the tour planned got our whole families motivated to wake up early in the morning to see the stars and lava! Rob was an excellent tour guide. He was accommodating throughout the entire trip, took photos of our family so we did not have to worry about capturing the moment with our phones and was very informative. The van was spacious and was able to accommodate our car seat and our 3 year old. Rob provided us with snacks and water throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and we had an excellent experience due to his expertise, professionalism, and friendly personality!

Wonderful! Full of knowledge, great vehicle and snacks. I went with my parents who can walk some but not the long hikes. This was perfect. We saw everything. Got some great pictures Jodi took and we got them within the hour! Highly recommend!

Pretty much everything, the lava lake was steaming with breakthrough of lava, the lava tube was fantastic, the different lava fields fascinating, and steam vents very interesting. But our guide pulled it altogether with facts, history and stories. Highly recommended.

Rob was a great guide and we learned far more about the park and lava that I’m sure we wouldn’t have learned on our own. Rob helped give his tips and guidance to even explore the park after our tour. The 5am tour can seem unappealing but DO IT, the payoff is worth it. They have snack, water, binoculars, flashlights, and rain jackets if needed.

We did the 7am private tour with Jodi, and this was worth the investment. We had our own private van with plenty of snacks and water. We watched a very informative and interesting film about the volcano during the drive around the National Park. We stopped at numerous locations, and at each location we saw or learned something that we would have never known without Jodi's extensive knowledge. I highly recommend this as a great way to see the NP in about 4 hours or so.

Great way to see the critical parts of the park without having to do a bunch of research yourself. The van that moves you around the park plays a video about the 2018 eruption that really puts everything into perspective. Guide was very friendly.

This was the best money that we spent on our trip. Jodi was so knowledgeable and took us to places we wouldn't of known to go to had we done this alone. It was so nice having the 4 of us and her as the tour guide, she took the time to explain things, to show us the wonders and mysteries of Kilauea, and she was so much fun to get to know. We would recommend this tour to any sized group and will plan to do it again when we go back with friends. We did the 5am tour and it was perfect.

We did a 4 hour tour that began at 9A. Jodi was a great guide - very passionate about her work! She was also very knowledgeable about volcanoes in general and the National Park specifically. She answered all our questions and took us to locations in the park that are not visited by tourists . She also shared personal stories of her experience hiking and playing in the park. The transportation, a Sprinter van was first rate. We will book her next year for another great experience!
