Your day trip to one of the most remote locations in the most remote region of Western Australia begins with early morning pickup in Broome by 4-wheel-drive vehicle. As you listen to narration from your guide about the Kimberley region, journey across the red desert environment, only accessible by dirt tracks.

Stop at the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community for morning tea, and see the pearl-shell alter of the Beagle Bay church. The next stop is Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm to explore the only operational pearl farm open to the public. Continuing north to One Arm Point Community, enjoy a prime view of the Buccaneer Archipelago and admire the Kimberley’s large tidal flows.

Your day trip ends either with the return 4WD trip to Broome, where you’ll arrive in the evening, or with a direct flight to Broome, arriving in the late afternoon.

This was a great tour - a long day but still comfortable with lots of interesting things to see and do. Our tour guide, Baz, was very informative and also did a great job in providing refreshments along the way at nice stops. Thought the Pearl Farm tour was most interesting and loved the Beagle Bay Church and history of the area.

The pearl farming process. And the trip to the hatchery. Didn’t see the church in Beagle Bay, as the indigenous community was is off limits. Did the optional flight back to Broome, we’ll worth the experience of flying in a 6-seater Cessna.

Caito was a fun and excellent tour guide with so much interesting local knowledge and was also happy to chat. Cygnet Bay was really pretty, the pearling tour was interesting and the swim in the infinity pool was very welcome due to the heat. The morning tea supplied by Caito was lovely and the lunch provided by the restaurant was delicious (coffees in the cafe were also great!) I took the option to fly back to Broome and the return flight along the coast was spectacular and recommended if your budget stretches to that option.

As this tour is on Aboriginal land, I believe there’s needs to be an Aboriginal tour guide. Our guide Kato was terrific & knowledge and it would benefit her story to have the First Nations perspective. I felt quite uncomfortable that it was missing.

What a fantastic day, Gary our tour guide was full of great information and so friendly and helpful. From Cygnet Bay(yummy Barramundi lunch!)Pearl farm(where an oyster was harvested and a beautiful pearl came out!!)To the Hatchery in an Aborigine Community which was very interesting and then on to Beautiful Cape Leveque with its stunning Red Cliffs and beautiful Torquoise beaches. A great tour to Cape Leveque. Our young driver and guide Nicole was fantastic. Long drive to get there 2 hrs but we’ll worth it. Cygnet bay pearl farm tour was very interesting and the lunch of barramundi was delicious. Then on to the fish farm another interesting place before a final stop at Kooljiman resort for a look around and swim. Lovely place. Back to Broome in 2 hrs again. A great day and a must do when in Broome.

The total experience of the road trip, the tour guide and the people made the day. However, incorporating so many highlights such as Cygnet Bay, commentary and lunch, then onto the Hatchery which was enlightening and fun, then the rugged drive to Cape Leveque as terrific. We then enjoyed a scenic flight home down the coastline. I would recommend this day's outing to everyone.
