Patrick was a top notch guide! He knows his town and the ins and outs of everything, there was t a question he couldn’t answer for us! Super kind and friendly, you will not be sorry you chose his guidance for your day in Bruges! Only advice, GO HUNGRY because you will be eating and drinking A LOT!!!!! We had an amazing tour of Bruges with our guide Patrick. We got more than just wonderful food but also the history of this lovely town. Patrick is a native of Bruges and was able to share so much with us. The restaurants and shops we visited were family owned small establishments and the food was superb. We had a couple of surprise tastings along the way which I won’t talk about because I want you to be surprised. I urge you to to take this tour if you’re in Bruges. It would be a great tour for families as well!

We took a Thursday afternoon tour with Patrick and wow. What a superb tour! He is so knowledgeable and passionate about his city (he grew up and lives in Bruges) and he’s a superbly kind and funny guy! Recommend 100%he is the type of person who if you bump into again he’d remember you and say hi like an old friend. Don’t miss this tour, he will show you some absolute gems off the beaten track.

This food tour canceled one hour before it’s start time - so late it not only was impossible to book any other tour we had interest in the day, but also so late it was a challenge to find a seat at a restaurant due to not having reservations. They then said it was up to us to get a refund from Viator - i understand there can be last minute emergencies, but would have appreciated a little help to get an honest refund. Had a similar experience with 10 Tastings within the past year and wonder if this is the norm?

Jay was a wonderful guide and host, this was a highlight of our trip. If you are in Bruges, this is the tour to do. It is interesting, fun, great local food favorites and you get a real perspective and feel for the city. Not anything like a lecture, like some history tours can be. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best tours we have had! The tour guide was gracious, knowledgeable (born and raised in Bruges). All of our stops were meaningful and of course delicious. We learned so much about Bruges along the way. Wow. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and is looking for a guide who knows their way around Bruges. Amazing.

Great value food tour. We loved the chocolate, beer, and waffles. We were a group of 7, including grandparents and kids ages 9, 7, and 3. Everyone enjoyed it. This tour has more history than your average food tour, so it was a good orientation for our first day in Bruges.

Our guide knew very little of the food or the city. Our tastings consisted of: a small seafood salad/aspic--wonderful!; a small plastic tub filled with 4 tablespoons of tiny raw shrimp; a half glass of beer accompanied with bits of greasy cold sausage and cheese; a half of a waffle; a tiny piece of chocolate; some cold French fries with a bite of a cold sausage covered in raw onions; a coffee. Our guide told us she had 4 jobs so we tipped her because we felt sorry for her. The food was inedible and many times we had to stand outside in the cold or inside with babies crawling over us and no place to sit. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. The cost was outrageous compared to the food and value we received..
