Legends of Brussels - Historical Walking Tour of Brussels

I learned so much about Brussels, received very good advices. I really don't regret and recommend to all the travelers to start their Belgian with this tour.

The best part of the tour was our guide. He brought the city and its history to life. Smart, knowledgeable, great personality, willing to answer all.our questions and truly seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Lots of walking on a lot of cobble stone streets. If I could give a rating over ten he would get at least a 12!

This tour was great! Highly recommend to see all the highlight of Brussels. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for other things to do.

Sancar was an amazing guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour! We learned an immense amount of history about the city of Brussels and we even got to have a delicious Belgian waffle along the way! Fantastic 2.5 hour walk about many parts of both lower and upper Brussels. Some interesting history lessons on Brussels featuring of course, many legends of Brussels. Highly recommended if you e never been to Brussels before or if you simply want to learn more.

This tour was excellent. Our tour guide walked us around the city to all the highlights telling us all about the history and stories of the sites. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. He welcomed questions. He walked at a great pace so that we saw everything but we’re not worn out. And he gave us excellent tips at the end. This is a great way to start your time in Brussels!

Very interesting tour of Brussels. We were only in the city for one day and our guide really brought it to life. The chocolate tasting was a nice touch. Highly recommended

Grand place and the history behind it. The tour guide was really very knowledgeable and he walked us through that phase of the history of Belgium at various turns to the independence in 1830

We loved this walking tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information both historical and general knowledge about Brussels & all of Belgium, if you love history it is definitely for you. We got to try Belgian waffles & Belgian praline chocolates included in the tour, they were amazing! We had walked past many of the chocolate shops previously & never entered - but hearing the history behind them definitely helped & made the story of Brussels come to life. I would recommend doing this at the start of your trip as we did it at the end and although it was still great, we wished we could have been able to go to the restaurants etc that the guide recommended to us at the end. We felt the tour was well paced & we did not feel rushed - we got a lot of time to explore & ask any questions. This tour definitely helped us to love Brussels a bit more & the fact it is such a progressive and forward thinking city. Thank you again for an amazing tour, I would definitely come back to Brussels after it! Although I cannot remember our guides name (so sorry!!) he took the time to know all of our names & where we were from, he was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!! 100% recommend.
