It was a good day trip. Our guide Miriam was very entertaining and knowledgeable. She spoke both in English and Spanish for both type of speakers. Both Luxembourg City and Dinant were beautiful and both deserve at least a day’s stay to explore the important bits. However this trip is perfect if you have less time on your hand and still would like to check out the cities a bit.

Do not take this trip on Sunday! However, it’s the only day this tour is offered. Why offer a tour on a day that has 95% of the shops closed?? It was also memorable being on a hot, stuffy bus for 6 of the 11 hours because this is where we spent most of our time. Rather than stop 30 minutes after only 1 hour of travel time, this trip would be better spent travelling straight to Luxembourg to maximize the tour. This guide (Miriam) had knowledge of places but did not make extra effort to ensure travellers could hear/see/understand.

The tour was very well organized, starting from meeting point in the center of Brussels, the time we spent in Luxembourg was enough to get feel of the city, our guide Miriam was very passionate, caring and knowledgeable On the way back the stop in Dinant was great addition to the wonderful day. Comfortable bus, super driver. Highly recommended for all.

This is advertised as a day trip to Luxembourg but what they don’t tell you is that you’ll only have 3 hours to explore Luxembourg City once you get there. I wished I’d have spent my money on a train ticket to visit instead. The stop in Dinat is subpar and basically a stop to make you feel like you aren’t on a bus for 4 hours. The tour guide was nice enough but I ended up ditching the group and exploring on my own. Also, the organization of Brussels City Tours to get your wristband is ridiculous. They try to squeeze all the tourists in 1 tiny office to get a wristband. Definitely a better way to do this than screaming in the streets “Brugge and Ghent! Luxembourg!”

Guide was knowledgeable especially about history of World War I. Three stops. That was good for stretching legs, washroom breaks and snacks. Good balance of walking tour and free time. Long full day but enjoyable. Luxembourg is walkable, interesting and picturesque so worth visiting.

Our guide was terrible. He wasn't personable. One of the ladies on our tour fell and got really hurt so a big chunk of time was lost from our tour. This wasn't the ladies fault of course. Luxembourg was pretty and it was fun to walk around, we just wish we could have had a better guide and experience the whole tour.
