If you've always wanted to learn to scuba dive, Cozumel is a great place to do it. This three-hour private course is ideal for keen beginners who aren't yet ready to take dive certification. You'll learn all the skills you need to begin diving safely from your PADI-certified instructor. Even complete an underwater dive to gain experience and confidence.

We meet at Tikila Beach, which is located directly across from Paprika's Restaurant. Our guide will be waiting at the entrance to meet you.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

It was an awesome experience! I wanted to do it a long time ago and doing it for the first time in Conzumel was perfect. The PADI instructor was very nice, she explained everything very good and gave us the security we needed. It was beautiful.

I was a little nervous when I arrived, but everyone was so welcoming. My guide was really good at taking the time I needed to feel comfortable with all of the new information before I began my dive. It was amazing to see all of the fish and sea life below. Cozumel Diving Academy made me feel like family.

Memorable experience for all of us ! We were 4. The price was less than the other agencies in Playa del Carmen, and we apreciated dive with our monitor Dukky. The learning is progressive and Dukky is a very good monitor, dynamic, safe and patient. During the dive we met a lot of marin species. We will remember this diving for long.

Our Scuba guide was amazing! He was so patient and kind and just an absolute wonderful person. He made this “first time diving” the most wonderful experience! I was very nervous going in and this guide made me calm and enjoy the whole underwater adventure. When it was done I decided to get certified at another time and this dive gives credit to your next dive. I have been in Mexico for 3 months now and this was the number one activity I have done. 5 huge stars!!!

Really enjoyed our experience. I was a bit nervous at first since it’s our first scuba experience, but our instructor was very experienced and professional. He made sure we completed all the necessary learnings and skills before bringing us to the open ocean, and checked in on us throughout the dive. Would definitely recommend this for beginners who want to try out scuba diving!
