After hotel pickup in Cozumel, you'll set off in a private minivan that accommodates up to nine people in your party. 

The overview of the island starts with a city sightseeing tour. Then head to a chocolate factory for a look at how chocolate was first processed by the Maya people. Follow up with a tequila history tour and tasting.

Next, you have the option to visit the Maya archaeological site of San Gervasio (admission not included) or continue to Mayaluum to observe local craftsmen make masks and Maya figures from clay and limestone. During a drive along Cozumel's coastal highway, stop for plenty of photo op at locales of your choosing. You can select among beachfront restaurants that serve delicious Mexican and seafood dishes for lunch (own expense).

Afterward, visit Palancar Beach, where aquamarine waters lap the soft sands. Swim or simply enjoy the breeze while lying in a hammock under a coconut palm. When time is up, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

Great way to explore Cozumel!

This was one of our favorite excursions! Our driver Antonio was the best! He arrived at the hotel on time, gave us some history on Cozumel, and structured the day based on what we were interested in. We went to a tequila factory (great tequila!), the San Gervasio ruins, Sky Reef, and a chocolate factory. We went to a place called coconuts for lunch. It’s on a cliff so the view is fantastic. I would have preferred a more local place (coconuts is specifically geared to tourists). The ceviche was great though! Antonio knew where all the cool stops were and we got some great pictures. I would definitely recommend this tour (and Antonio!).

Fantastic tour! Loved the west side of the island. Had some great stops at local crafts and vendors. Large taxi for just top people! Our driver was Victor and he did a great job! Only thing they need to make a clear meeting place known. I would suggest the frog statue by Senior Frogs, where you can be easily directed after getting off the cruise ships.

Our tour guide was wonderful! We had a private tour of the island and he took us where we wanted to go. We had a wonderful day! We were worried about finding our tour guide once we got off the cruise ship, but found him easily. He had a sign with my name on it.
