This is our main meeting point, but please remember that we have two alternative meeting points within walking distance for cruise ships and mainland passengers; please contact Safe Tours Cozumel to inform us where you will need to be welcome.
The "Barracuda" hotel is located just across the street from "La Mega" grocery store, it's walking distance from the Ferry pier and the Punta Langosta pier at Cozumel downtown.

We had a wonderful experience being taken out as a private party of eight on a 40 person boat for a snorkeling adventure. The three snorkeling spots were great, the staff and guides friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of time to enjoy it all. Price was great and the owner was very accommodating! We thought this was the highlight of our trip for the non-divers among us. Just don it!

⚠️ Is a personal long one ⚠️
This is what I call “feel the fear and do it any anyways” For my Birthday I decided to face a huge fear. I do not claim that I’m a swimmer because I dont do anything over 4.5ft. And yet I put myself in a situation I would never imagine possible. I went snorkeling in the carribean sea. 😬
The craziest part it’s that on my inspirational wall I have pics of snorkeling (the last pic) and the ocean and traveling and every single animal except one I saw and some how we took a very similar picture. We didn’t realize this until we started going through the pictures, when we returned.
It’s No surprise to me because I truly believe the law of attraction it’s truly real and and I live by it. So in a full circle I faced a huge fear and witness manifestation at its finest. The greatest birthday gift I could receive. Thank u god, thank u universe, thank u babe Joshua Roman and thank u me. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed the trip and we snorkelled for one and a half hours. The state of the coral was disappointing (sadly nothing that can be done about that) but we did seea lot of interesting fish. I had booked for my wife and me. There was only one other family on the trip. We were well looked after our guides were very knowledgeable and provided us with pletny of drinks. We felt this was a better experience than we would have had with the cruise ship excurcion and we had better value.

Snorkeling coral reefs

I wish I could rate it higher but I have to rate it on my experience. The crew were good and explained things well. My problem was that this was only my second time snorkeling (the first two days earlier) and there was no comparison. At one point I got widely separated from the others and began to be rather tired and almost panicked. I felt pretty much abandoned. There were only 4 of us snorkeling, my wife and I and a father and son. I kind of felt like the small boy was taking enough of the guide's attention to cause her to neglect others.

I can highly recommend the VIP Glass Bottom Boat and Snorkeling trip. They trip begins at the El CId Motel which is just a short walk from cruise pier. We were greeted by the owner and his daughter and directed to boat, Miguel and his crew were friendly and informative. I was very impressed that a crew member was in the water during the snorkeling portion of the trip equipped with a life saving ring. They put safety ahead of everything. Take the trip, you won't be disappointed.

Let me start by saying the location is a two minute walk from the royal cruise port located at the el cid hotel. We were quickly treated by a super friendly staff and was briefed when to meet at the dock. Once on board we were taken to three little reefs close to the cruise port. Now granted it was not the best reefs they have to offer in Cozumel but for 30 dollars plus a 5 dollar each marine park fee which included water, beer and soft drinks how can you complain. Royal snorkel package was 89 dollars and they were at the same places we were. I would highly recommend this trip if you are on a cruise ship. Can not give high enough praise.

Boat takes you to three reefs, you get about an hour to snorkel around with the group. Drinks included. Afterwards you can relax on a private beach. Price is very affordable. Good alternative to cruise provided excursions.

The 3 reefs they showed us were beautiful. I was slightly disappointed since I did not read the description of the tour very well and thought we were going to Palancar and Columbia reefs, since I booked the tour on recommendation of people who did just that. Turned out they only go to those reefs on Sundays,,, So, make sure this is the tour you want to do. The reefs are just on the other side of the safety buoys in San Miguel. you might feel like you do not need to take a tour to see them, but it allows you to snorkel in safety in areas with high boat traffic. Obviously I cannot compare it to the aforementioned reefs, but we felt it was worth it. 2 members of our party was sick and could not make it. Safe Tours, who operate the tour for Viator, arranged a refund on my behalf. I am very happy with their service. Thank you Arturo Diaz.

Glass bottom a little decieving probably 4X2 area is glass although neat not like I have seen before. The Capt and instructors were friendly and helpful but whole time seemed rushed. The trip was fun and enjoyable and Arturo, the greeter, paid our taxi ride back to ferry since trip was cut a little short on time in water only $4 but hey made up for the tip that was requested.
