I have been on tours in many parts of the world and this experience soars above the rest.
Marlon our tour guide was communicative from the minute we booked, picked us up right on time in Flores, and took us on an unforgettable experience through the Mayan ruins of Tikal.
Tikal was breathtaking as we explored the entire park, climbed ruins, took some amazing pictures, learned, and ended the day with a perfect view of the sunset from the top of a pyramid.
Words can’t even describe how knowledgeable our guide was. Marlon taught us so many incredible things about this beautiful country ranging from Ancient Mayans, Modern day life in Guatamala, wild life, government, religion, and the countrys history as a whole.
By the end of the day my wife and I truly felt like we made a new friend. Thank you again Marlon!

Amazing tour thanks to the passionate guide Rejes

Had an amazing day with Rejes. We were the only couple that signed up, but instead of them cancelling the tour (which sometimes happens at other tours), we got a private tour for the day.
First a pickup at our hotel where we had a ride to the park wherein Rejes explained a lot about Guatemala/Belize history.
After arrival we had a far better than expected lunch.
The tour itself was a nice combination of walking in the jungle from temple to temple and checking out amazing views. Meanwhile Rejes was explaining the history of the Majas and details about the structures itself; He gave us a document to keep the story more clear and structured for us since there are many rulers.
We also saw lots of monkeys and birds and could use Rejes' binoculars to see them better. After the amazing sunset from the temple we did stargazing and spotted some more night animals like fireflies, a snake and big spiders.
My girlfriend who did this tour before at another company said this tour was a lot better because we went through the jungle to get from place to place so we saw a lot more. We also got a far more in detail explanation, that's all thanks to the extremely passionate guide. We even could still ask him questions after the tour.
As you can see, we had an amazing experience and really recommend to get this tour.

Giovanny was the tour guide for this Sunset Tikal Tour. He came to the hotel in Flores on time and in a very happy mood. Already set the mood for a fun day.

Marlon was an outstanding guide. Perfect for my visit to Tikal. He was very knowledgeable of the history, geography, politics and could read the inscriptions on the estelas. Very accommodating, scalded all the pyramids with me and took great photos. He estimated that he has lead over 3,200 tours to Tikal. Highly recommend him.

Marlon was an excellent guide for Tikal. It is possible for someone to tour Tikal on their own, but given how big the area is -- Tikal once was one of the largest cities in the world -- having a guide was so much better. Marlon was on time, kept the tour at the appropriate pace, and had great knowledge of Tikal and the surrounding area of the Peten. I would VERY highly recommend him. Tikal is a place that has to be seen. The ruins are spectacular. It is absolutely incredible how the sophistication of the building of these structures anywhere from 1300 to 1600 years ago. If Machu Picchu is or was on your bucket, get to Tikal.
