    Your 2-day tour of Fraser Island departs from Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach, and includes an overnight stay at Eurong Beach Resort, located next to the ocean on Seventy-Five Mile beach. The apartment-style accommodation offers quad, triple, twin and single room or 2-bedroom apartment. The resort has two swimming pools, two bars, and a cafe. One breakfast, two lunches, and a dinner are included.

    Fraser Island is a place unlike any other. Created over the millennia from sand drifting off of mainland Australia, it is the largest sand island in the world and the only place where rain forest grows in sand. Your guide takes you to the island's top sites, including Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, Champagne Pools, Lake Wabby, Central Station, the Maheno shipwreck and the Hammerstone Sandblow.     I had a bit of trouble finding where to be pickup on the 1st day. After that everything was smooth and beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. We saw dingos at the beach, visited beautiful rainforest with unreal streams, climbed sand dunes, saw stunning lakes and dipped into champagne pools. Loved every minute of it.

    Tour guide Wozza was extremely knowledgeable and non-stop gave us info about the island and where we were. Lake Mackenzie is stunning. The plane ride was so fun, despite not seeing any marine life. Food at the resort was good, big portions. No wifi or signal on the island (only where the ferry is).

    I was with Murry for this two days tour. He handled everything so well. From the way he found the late people to the effort he had to get a vegan cake for me, to the patience he had to answer some questions about trees, he was such a lovely tour guide. We started with lake McKenzie then another lake with nice sands on the first day. The second day were the vessel, pool and the creek. To be fair everything can be quickly done in one day but two days are more relaxing. The accommodation was nice but only Telstra had reception.

    Thought this was expensive when booking but it was worth every penny. From pickup at Rainbow Beach (picked up outside Rainbow Getaways Holiday Apartments also recommended) to accommodation and sightseeing everything was very professional and we had a great time. Accommodation on Fraser was basic but clean and adequate. Food was excellent. Drivers very informative and added to a great experience.

    This was a great 2 day tour! The only thing I was unhappy with was the accommodation, it was not clean. The resort itself was nice, the food was good, the staff was friendly. Loved every minute of our tour, Warren was a great tour guide!

    We were unlucky and experienced bad weather and would've preferred to have been given options of what to do when the weather was good. Good weather on the 2md day but spent all the time on the bus and very little time at the different stops. Some stops seemed pointless (coloured sand).

    Who knew there were 4WD busses? As this is a sand island, the interior roads have a lot of soft sand and you get bounced around for at least 3 hours total. Just be prepared and take precautions if this action makes you queasy. Lots of beautiful sites and driving on the 74 Mile Beach is smooth!! Hotel is not fancy but is very adequate.

    I booked this as a last minute trip and it did not disappoint. Fraser Island is a beautiful place with so much diversity. I wasn't too sure about being a typical tourist on a bus being driven around to go take photos, but the Bus was half of the adcverture. Espcially as we had the BEST tour guide on the island. Warren (aka WAZ MAN). he had the whole bus doing the YMCA at one point. priceless. Anywaym, highly recommended. But try and go in the winter, Less people, cooler more manageable climate and soooooo many whale around we got tired of looking because they quickly became "the norm". Bring a drone if you have one, take loads of photos.

    What a couple of days it was. As soon as we were picked up from our hotel, Dave was out the bus smiling and cracking jokes. We got to the island and we got into the 4wd coach with Dave filling us with information about the islands history and a background of himself. He’s so passionate about the island and his job and is the answer to today’s Steve Irwin. As for Fraser Island itself what an amazing place to visit I would say it’s got to be a must do. This tour was perfect and it catered for all ages and nationalities. The only bad thing about the tour was leaving our guide as we couldn’t steal him for the rest of our backpacking round aus.

    How can you not enjoy a tour in paradise? Such a beautiful place with such diverse scenery. Absolutely loved my time on this tour and my only wish was that I could stay longer. Our tour guide Wayne was an absolute legend, who went above and beyond to make our tour so enjoyable, and was very entertaining providing so many facts and also jokes and entertainment along the way. Strongly recommended tour!
