We went on the tour with Tom and he was great! Very knowledgeable and made sure no one was left behind. The kayaking was so much fun, then you get to hike through lush forest and rivers. When you think it can’t get better, you come upon the mesmerizing waterfall! So worth it :)

This is by far the best value for a great Kauai adventure. The tour guide, Zach, was just amazing. With the random facts about plants, wildlife, geography, and not to forget the endless library of dad jokes. The hike itself is a must do, plus the kayaks make it a complete adventure.

No waterfall

No real memorable moments. Due to weather we didn't get to go to the waterfalls. You can jayak on a river anywhere the whole point was to see a waterfall so very disappointed.

I am sorry we were unable to make it to the waterfall due to high discharge levels at the river crossing that day. Our #1 priority is the safety. There were people out there who needed assistance in rescue. Trying to attempt to cross the river at the discharge levels readings we got it dangerous. I hope that you can understand why we canceled the tour.

What an amazing experience! So glad we booked and we really lucked out with such an incredible tour guide, Zach. He was so engaging and very knowledgeable about the history of the island, wildlife, and much more (he's been to 33 counties)! If you get Zach, come prepared to share your best "dad jokes" and hear his as well. It's 7 miles in total and is a long day; you will definitely work your muscles and may experience heavy wind/rain while kayaking and hiking through the jungle. The scenery is insane and you can't beat this experience. A definite MUST, and Zach made it that much more memorable. Thanks for a day we'll never forget!
