Eden Chocolate Tour - The best chocolate tour in La Fortuna

Excellent tour with a full overview of the process. Our guide was great and had a lot of patience with the kids. She did the explanation, dance and kids actually got to create the chocolate which we were eating for next few days. Highly recommend !!

This was one of our favorite tours we did in the La Fortuna area. We expected a walk around a farm and some chocolate tasting, but our guide went above and beyond. She made it fun, showing us the whole cocoa harvesting process, gave lots of hands-on opportunities, and even sang fun and goofy songs/chants while we went through the steps of making the chocolate. She answered all of our questions and had a lot of interesting info to share. The tasting was AWESOME, and we got to try a good variety of different toppings and styles. Would highly recommend this tour!

The tour was amazing. You learn so much about the fauna, farming practices, history, and much more. It is also interactive. Also look for Kiki! Then you have the fun and rewarding part of the tour which is the chocolate making and tasting, which everyone will most enjoy. Our guide was awesome and funny, he deserved. And we were very buzzed after the tour from the chocolate and the coffee beans I added to mine. Be aware that the organic farm is about 10 minutes outside of town so be sure to leave a little extra time or plan ahead to get a lift there. It can also be very hot and sunny during parts of the tour, so dress well. The chocolate and gift shop is also very nice to find something else tasty to take away.

Fascinating, fun and delicious! We got lots of info: growing the plants, start to finish chocolate, cultural history. Most exciting was making our own chocolate to eat and try different flavor additives. Plus delicious hot chocolate! Beautiful place, great tour.

The guide was very polite and motivated to explain everything. A must do when you plan to visit La Fortuna. Highly recommended.

It was a fun and interesting tour. Now I know much more about chocolate production. There also lives a sloth Kiki enjoying the tall trees.

We had a great time touring the plantation and making our own chocolate. The guides were great and it was a very eco-friendly tour. The coffee shop and pre-made chocolates were nice to have after too!

This must be what it's like to go to Heaven, because this was Chocolate Heaven. You have heard he expression "From soup to nuts", well this is from 'Nuts to Chocolate Mattta'. Our guide was AMAZING. He took us through the chocolate forest, well the Nut Trees. And patiently answered all our questions, no matter how silly: like do Leaf Cutter Ants eat the nuts. This is a must go do 2 hour event.
