Interesting, Delicious, and Fun for the Whole Family

We were looking for something short and easy to do on our final day in town, and this tour seemed interesting. It totally met our expectations and was even a bit more fun than we had expected. As a married couple, we enjoyed every aspect of it, and it was also fun for the other families with children that were part of our group. It was educational, you get to be outside, there are lots of interesting plants and animals to see on their property, and the chocolate tasting was delicious!

Must do if you love chocolate and you're curious about the process of chocolate making. It was very informative and Terlena (I think that's her name) was very knowledgeable and informative. You learn the history of cacao and its journey to modern-day chocolate. The best part was the taste testing, where you sample the cacao beans at every stage of development. My favorite part was mixing and matching the different ingredients with the hot cacao. This is a must-do for those who want to experience the sweeter side of La Fortuna. Highly recommend Rainforest Chocolate Tour.

Katherine was excellent! She shared the history of chocolate, was super engaging because of her genuine interest and appreciation, and it was awesome to taste authentic chocolate! Highly recommend this tour! They have a beautiful patio with rocking chairs, a small store to purchase some local chocolate from other vendors, and was a very serene and quaint farm! High quality people and chocolate! Patricia was incredible and felt like my Aunt Olga as she was handling the process of making chocolate - super authentic and personal!

The tour guide was amazingggg! So knowledgeable and so friendly and so patient with all of our many questions. It's so cool to know about where chocolate comes from. Even my 8 year old daughter liked the tour! At the end we got to make our own flavors of chocolate which was very cool too! Great for families.

Fun, educational, and entertaining- plus you eat Real chocolate! Our guide was funny and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed walking through the chocolate trees, seeing a great currasow, seeing how chocolate is made and participating in the very interactive experience.

The tour guide, Chato Guapo, has a great personality. He makes the tour interactive, informative and fun. We learned a lot about the history of cacao and how chocolate is made. Be prepared to be interactive and have a good time!
