Jack the Ripper Walking Tour in London

Fascinating to learn the history of this part of London. Very engaging guide! The content may not have been appropriate for my 11 year old.

Our tour guide George did a great job of making history come to life. Even in this modern scene he had us feeling what it may have been life to be alive 134 years ago

George was a great tour guide! Our walking tour was delightfully small (only 6 people), so he was able to personalize the 75-minute tour to our preferences. Much better than the other tours we saw, which had dozens of people in each group. George was informative, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He really brought to life what East London in late 1888 during Jack the Ripper's reign of terror would have have been like. The tour was even better than expected and we would do it again.

George, the guide, was great from the start. He got to know the group early by asking sincere questions of each of our places of origins and our interests, and what we were up to in London. From there, he took us on a walk through the Whitechapel district of London with frequent stops to provide history, context and information. Best of all, he delivered the details in a fascinating, passiomate and engaging way. George has clearly done his research and was very knowledgeable on all related subjects. He always invited any questions from the group. Finally, having been something I've wanted to do for the previous Four times I've visited London, George's your not only crossed that off my list but did so emphatically. Parts of the tour were funny, other parts predictably grotesque, and other parts surprising and informative. At times, my wife and I had a few chills down the spine hearing about the numerous 'Ripper' suspects and their exploits. Safe to say we both highly recommend this walk for anyone in London fascinated by Jack the Ripper, history in general or for those seeking an eerie but fin experience that you won't find anywhere outside of Whitechapel!

George had so much information he was awesome!!! He saw us back to our area where we were staying and showed us where to eat. St Katherine's dick was the best. Great tour.

My family loved our Jack the Ripper tour, and one of the main reasons was our awesome guide George. He was really energetic, was super knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. Nice walking tour, easy for all walking abilities and entertaining enough from teens to adults.
