Overview

Visit sharks, penguins and puffins with admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and explore 19 wildlife habitats from every corner of the world’s largest ocean. Slip beneath a full-sized model of a blue whale, and catch the eye of a fierce leopard shark. Travel from a Sea of Cortez kelp forest to the ice-crusted waters off Northern Japan; watch sea horses play in a tropical lagoon, pet a shark in a kid-friendly touch tank and listen to the eerie melodies of an undersea whale song. Keeping our guests and staff safe is our top priority. We are limiting the number of visitors, requiring advance timed reservations, and managing traffic flow to ensure social distancing, requiring face coverings and temperature checks, providing numerous hand-sanitizing stations, and much more.

Very easy to enter just scanned bar code off my phone. We loved the frogs ,jellyfish and also my son colored a shark that shows up on a big screen for everyone to see. Eat prior to going it cost us 66.00 for two cheeseburgers and fish n chips. The drinks were 5.00 each. So yeah it’s decent price to get in but you pay in other was. Over all it’s always good to spend the day with your family.

Aquarium of the Pacific Is Fun & Educational for the Whole Family!

Aquarium of the Pacific Is fun and educational for people of all ages. They have excellent exhibits and tons of information about a plethora of ocean and underwater animals and plants. The museum works hard to show many varied fish, water animals, water plants, coral etc. and discuss the impact of global warming ( although I prefer to say the increase in more extreme weather). The ocean is right there as well, Whale watching tours are close by if you want to actually want to get in a boat and see some animals and plants in their natural habitat ( the boat tours are separate and there is an additional cost), and there is shopping and many dining places a small walk away. Aquarium of the Pacific Is definitely worth the time, and there is a lot to do in the area if you want to make it a fun filled day.

First timer enjoyed experience

Had a great time for my 18 month olds first time. When we got there staff was very friendly and guided us in. He loved all the animals never wanted to leave exhibit until realizing there was another one a few steps away. We had a wagon so we had to wait for elevators so I do suggest if you can avoid using elevators, stairs are so much faster.
