Maui Nui Luau at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

This could have been a lot better with a smaller and more intimate group. As it was, it was overly crowded and our seats were very far away from the stage. Suggest looking at other Luaus that are smaller and more intimate

Saved the Luau for our Grand Finale. What a memorable experience. You really should go. The show was colorful, and the dancers were amazing. What a feast!

The show was wonderful, both educational and entertaining! However, the food wasn’t good & they even ran out of a few dishes on our line which weren’t replaced in time for the luau to begin so we didn’t bother going back to check. Thankfully, we didn’t go there for the food but rather for the show which made it worth it! Also, the location was absolutely stunning.

One word “FABULOUS” well worth the price and Left me feeling like we fully experienced everything Maui had to offer.

Not worth the price We had very high expectations on this event. The show was a pretty good Polynesian show, great for a Hawaiian experience if it is your first time. Food was great. There was a fantastic variety of food and very tasty. However, since was an All you can eat buffet, many people over piled their plate and never finished. Big waste of food. There was fried rice, noodles, poke, chicken, teriyaki beef, kalua pork, fish, bread and many salads. Drinks were terrible. Piña Colada without Alcohol and Piña Colada with Alcohol tested very similar (too watered) and Mai Tai just tasted very simple.You barely can taste the rum. Additionaly only 2 people serving drinks for maybe more than 500 people. Imagine the line up. The booking said to show up at 5:00PM. Make sure you are there around 4pm. We arrived before 5:00, parking was very complicated and the line up to check in was very long. By the time the show started, The line was still long. Obviously, at the check in, they take you a picture. Which is kind of normal at any kind of spectacle. But for the amount of money paid (In my case, for a family of 4), at least the picture should be included - US$30 ? No way. And you have the option to received by e-mail (US$50). In summary, in my opinion, the amount of money paid was really excesive. If it is your first Luau, you must experience it on your own, it was the only moment on my week on Maui that I see people dancing Luau. The Sheraton location has a great beach view. Food is great. Show is very basic for the experience and very short. Drinks as I said, with too much ice and line up. Instead of buffet, they should have people serving you to the table, so you don't loose any moment on the show. The time to eat is too short specially for the last tables who goes for food (BTW, Buffet goes by tables, so table 1 have a lot of time to eat, tables 40 and up, not really much) Unlimmited drinks but who wants to line up for 20 minutes and keep loosing the show? Deserts were only 3 options. Parking is $2 with validation which is OK. But still, should be included.

Worst experience ever. I've been two other ones before this one. And this luau has to be the worst one by far. By the time we were able to get our food, everything was gone and they did not stock up. We couldn't not see the dancers and the performance was short. You sat under the sun with no cover.

we arrived an hour early. there where no signs to the luau .many couples had to ask employees to direct us. they made us walk up stairs and down stairs,which was not good for many elderly people(my mom was with us too and she had a hard time. I saw struggling going up and down. it was at least a 10 minute walk. once arrived they did not seat us up front as first come first served instead we where sat toward the back. horrible view . the stage is too small for the amount of tables. you cant see the pig ceremony or any of the dancers that are on the lower stage. they also ran out of potatoe macaronie salad after 1 serving. many people where upset and more than half of the people where not served yet when they ran out and they couldnt replace it. they staff did not even respond when asked.

The Hula Girls were amazing and the staff was very courteous! The Musicians were talented accompaniest and the food was plentiful and a big variety of main dishes and sides with several drink options as well as deserts.

This was a fun experience on a beautiful beach setting. The music and dancers were entertaining, it was really cool to learn about the Hawaiian culture. And the food was delicious, better than I expected for a large buffet.

The dances & the great food. The atmosphere was excellent. The sunset was gorgeous, just a perfect setting.
