Half Day Yarra Valley Winery Day Trip from Melbourne

Seb was great - kept us entertained and was genuinely curious about our experience of the wineries..

We were lucky enough to be the only two on our half day tour and our tour guide made us feel so special! It was our one year anniversary and he understood when to conversate and when to leave us to enjoy the experience. The first winery was Yering Valley, and the standing tasting session through sparkling to sweet wine was a great way to start the day. The workers there were extremely well versed on all there was to know about their product and they were very passionate about their winery too. The second winery was Dominique Portet and the setting, inside and outside, was absolutely stunning. The vibe was quiet, calm and relaxed and the cheese board was perfect. We really took our time devouring the cheese before moving on to tasting here and while we did want to go to a third winery, we believe our tour guide made the right call not to rush us and let us just enjoy the stunning place and its wine. We would feel that the price would be more than reasonable if we were able to go to that third winery though. Our tour guide was organised, knowledgeable, self-aware and responsive to our desires. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone on a strict time schedule that still want to experience the best the Yarra Valley has to offer in a short time.

Had a half day tour a few months back with a friend. Turns out we were the only ones on the tour! The lady was super nice and took us to 3 different wineries. The wineries are beautiful. Worth doing if you don’t have much time in Melbourne as you still have the rest of the day left to do other things!

Blah tour guide. it was straightforward just wine tasting in 3 vineyards, no explanation/ actual "touring" of the journey or the winery. Find either a full day one or another company. had a grumpy driver. That's basically what you get is someone to drive you to the wineries not a "tour guide' just driver.

This was a very nice introduction to 3 wineries in the Yarra Valley. Didn't take up the whole day. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the wineries and the area. Comfortable van too!

6 of my friends and I went on this half-day trip this past weekend (November 16th). Our driver was Frank, and he picked us up right on time in the morning. Frank was extremely friendly, greeting us with smiles early in the morning. During our drive he told us much about Melbourne, and pointed out many features during our drive. He also gave us great recommendations on what to do for the rest of our weekend. He even made time for us to stop at a chocolatier before our wine tasting began. The wine tasting itself was very nice. There were tasty wines, beautiful views, and nice people. After our trip Frank dropped us off right in the middle of the city, where we had requested. This was extremely nice of him to do considering the drive was a little longer. We couldn't have asked for a better driver and tour guide for the day!
