Mornington peninsula hot springs and wine tasting day trip
, Dec. 2019
This trip was so informative and amazing, the guide and driver was so active and enthusiastically explained about the place sea, almost all the time was engaged and we where so happy,
Average wine, less impressive than expected
, Nov. 2019
This tour was pretty underwhelming- for starters the bus was cramped (I’m 5’6” and my legs didn’t fit in the seat in front of me- my boyfriend is 6’8” and he had to sit sideways across two seats) there was little/no commentary provided as to what we were looking at- we stopped at Arthur’s Seat (I still don’t know what is significant about this lookout spot or why we stopped there in the morning when we returned to ride the gondola in the afternoon), had a 30 min stop at a tiny beach, There weren’t even little shops around to grab a coffee as it was cold and overcast. The peninsula hot springs were lovely, if I had known what was ahead at the wineries, I would have asked to be left at the hot springs. There were two tours on the bus and when we were dropped at the hot springs, they went on to other places on the peninsula. When we rejoined the tour, one of the others mentioned that we “didn’t miss a single thing”. The food at the winery lunch was really great, but the wine was below average. We bought a glass of wine and I commented on how cloudy the colour was when they dropped it off (it was really murky) and by chance this was also a wine we tasted - but the colour was clearly different when we tasted, which tells me that there was something in the glass that we purchased and even the waiter didn’t know that it was wrong. When we drove up to the strawberry patch, many of us stayed on the bus because we were told that she was just dropping the others off and we would go onto the next winery- after 15 minutes wait, we were just about to go out looking for the tour guide when she returned. We would have gone along if we had known that we were going to be sitting in the bus for that long (and bus was off, so no wifi). The second winery had even less impressive wines, I recognize that not everyone will like the same wines, but no one we spoke to enjoyed any of the wines. I was also personally asked at three stops whether we needed anything by people working there- because we were left with no direction and just standing in the middle of a room while the guide organized the tasting/tickets. None of these things are massive problems, but just contributed to the tour being average. If you’re looking for good quality wine, this is not the tour for you. If you’re looking for free WiFi on the bus and you’re not really interested in learning anything about where you are, where you’re going or why, then maybe this is what you’re looking for.
Relaxation on Tour with Yaz
, Oct. 2019
Yaz and Chris started our tour with a smile and kept us updated on where we were going and what we were doing on every stop along the day. We lounged at the beautifully scenic hot springs retreat before heading to a sweet little olive plantation for a refreshing lunch and wine tasting before heading onto a second location and trying a white moscato I ended up buying because it was so good! We then purchased a gelato and headed on our way to the Eagle Gondola to sneak a peak at the melbourne skyline that hinted at us on the horizon through the views of the morning peninsula. We finished up with a quick beach stop to view the insta famous beach huts for some happy snaps before making the trip back to the CBD where we had the option to be dropped anywhere in the city along the way back to our hotel. Overall we had an amazing day! thankyou Yaz and chris for making our day so memorable and carefree!
great relaxing trip to mornington peninsula
, Aug. 2019
Good trip, with hot springs being a highlight, most enjoyable and relaxing. The winery stop for lunch was a bit ordinary. Our tour guide was great, who did not talk too much and had a great sense of humour and included everyone on this small tour group

The Hot Springs was more than I expected with it’s Turkish Steam Bath, sauna and ice cave as well as the hot springs pools. The Green Olive was a wonderful setting for an outdoor lunch and T’Gallant winery provided lots of great wines to taste! The Eagle cable ride above the peninsula provided a spectacular view and the beach boxes was a nice ending touch.

Hot springs was ok. But the wine tasting and the gardens were so so. We supposed we would have wine tasting in a large winery instead of a small farm. The gardens we visited were not so interesting.
Relaxing trip to Hot Springs
, Jul. 2018
My family enjoyed the trip and this tour was worthwhile to join. Not only the Hot Springs, but also the food and olive products
Best Hot Springs Spa Ever
, Jul. 2018
In order to indulge in all the hot springs. I recommend a microfiber towel and robe. The robe they supply is horrible when it gets wet. Be careful of the kids using your stuff because they want to stay dry. Other than that the layout of the hot springs is relaxing with the birds and ducks. Soothing to the muscles. Highly recommend!!
