Balgownie was a beautiful venue and the wines were superb. It was great to have a mix of different foods to try with cheese and chocolate, etc. and to get out into the countryside. Our driver Cloe was lovely.

Very satisfied with the tour. We got 3 excellent wine tastings, but it was also great fun- and broke the day up nicely- visiting a fruit farm, a dairy (great cheese) and an Ice Cream/ Chocolate place! Would recommend given the variety and the price too. Far cheaper than what our hotel offered. Tour guide was well organised, engaging, and had a good laugh with the group too. Cheers, Dave!

Great package of sight-seeing locales with wineries, cheese making, fruit market, chocolatier, and generally just a great tour. Graham was an excellent driver. Only minor criticism I would offer was that at lunch, it was a very large venue (Di Bartoli Winery I think), with a large group there being very noisy. Took away from an excellent experience. Would rate this 9.5 out of 10. For those concerned about impact of bush fires in this area, was absolutely no evidence of that.

The "small" group was over 20 people. Although we booked early, we got the sense that this was an add on. The tour director was personable but knew little to nothing about the tour stops. Too much time was spent at places trying to sell us things including an average small fruit stand, a sub standard cheese factory and a high price tourist driven chocolate store. The gourmet meal looked pretty but it was mass produced for tours probably serving more than a thousand. Our food had limited courses and was not properly prepared. The choice of wine with the meal was one red or white - both low end. The two times we were given the option to taste included wine on our own, the choices were very limited. I had expected to purchase wine but only had the opportunity to sample other than what was shown at two wineries. Did not find a wine I really liked and was shocked to hear that the tour ended without being comparable to previous wine tours we had experienced.
