Sunset Cruise : Moorea Sailing on a Catamaran named Taboo

Liza helped with communication and bookings. She was so helpful, clear, and informative. The boat picked us up right at the dock of our hotel. Leo was super friendly and told us a lot about the island and the bay. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a relaxing cruise during sunset.

On time pick up at our hotel; lovely friendly driver and captain. Wonderful excursion. We would do it again next time on Moorea.

Kevin was EXCELLENT! Very warm and kind hearted guide. Was a comfortable ride on the catamaran especially with the strong current. Breath taking views and delicious drinks provided. Would absolutely recommend 100%!

While the weather didn’t fully cooperate, my hubby and I were still able to see some beautiful sights during our sunset tour including an incredible rainbow! Leo was a fantastic captain and guide and we very much enjoyed our trip with him. The boat picked us up and dropped us off right from the dock at the Hilton where we were staying. We highly recommend this sunset tour, especially for those couples celebrating a romantic occasion!

February 9th, 2021 was an evening to remember aboard Taboo. I booked this adventure months in advance of our honeymoon, and could never know how perfect the day would turn out. French Polynesia closed its doors to all tourists on Feb. 10th. due to pandemic travel restrictions. It just so happened that we booked for the 9th and scheduled to leave for home on the 10th. We could not have timed it any better. No better way to end an incredible honeymoon in Paradise than to sail into the sunset with my new bride. Sounds picture perfect except for the fact that the day started out rainy and windy.....not so picture perfect after all. So here is how things changed...................... Tourists were leaving and doors were closing. We were feeling a little disappointed for our last day before returning to home ...and reality. We we determined to enjoy ourselves to the last moment. At the appointed time and location, (Hilton Lagoon Resort) Leo arrived and welcomed us aboard Taboo. We expected others to join us as well, considering it was not booked as private. When we asked, Leo said "You two are it tonight" all others cancelled or went home. Leo was gracious to treat us to a private experience. We sailed away and had the time of our lives. The sun set just as planned (of course) and Leo let us quietly enjoy the moment capturing timeless images and fun selfies. Thanks to Captain Leo our honeymoon ended as we dreamed and we have pictures to prove it!. I'm sure your experience will be equally memorable simply because ...it is paradise after all!

What an amazing experience! Leo is a fantastic captain and guide. He told us all about the island and the history of the different locations. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous, it is something that you must experience for yourself! 10/10 would recommend for anyone coming to visit and I would definitely do it again when we come back!

Our guide was very nice and the boat/views were great! We even saw some whales during the trip! Perfect end to our day.
