Lovely day with a fun and informative walk about the village.

We were to have our tour on Sunday but when rain was forecast we asked to change to Saturday. Our guide was very accommodating. We had a lovely time on the walking tour and learned so much history about Niagara on the Lake. Our guide Lily was born and raised there and had so many interesting stories and gave us so much historical information! We would recommend this tour of Niagara on the Lake to anyone who would like a relaxing day in an absolutely beautiful little village.

Although the guide was very knowledgeable , I was disappointed in how little we actually walked. While I understand that there may have been some people attending the tour that were unable to keep up, I would have flight coveringA lot more territory than the one block we went through. Also we were taking through a cemetery which I thought was a little creepy. In addition, while advertised on the website as doing a wine tasting at the end of the tour, This actually never happened. We were given cards that gave us complementary tasting at a store selling wine that was located nearby. However, when we went to the location, We were told that those cards were no longer in use and had not been since March 2020

I felt like the guide slammed the United States which was extremely unnecessary. Each person can have their views but the continuous jabs to the United Stated got very old very fast. I would absolutely not recommend this tour. The tour stopped for long periods of time to talk about nothing. Not much of a walking tour.

Lily, our guide, was knowledgeable, warm and chatty. She made the two hour walk skim by. It was not a difficult walk if anyone is concerned. You do go down by the waterfront and on our day it was cool and windy. We were glad to have sweaters. The tour helped you know funny little things that you may not have noticed otherwise. Well worth the time.

Lilly was GREAT! She answered our multiple-questions about Niagara-on-the-Lake Historic District, took us to various locations including historic hotels and graveyards, pointed out the Niagara River & how close we were to the U.S. which explained the geography of moving around the then-British forts. Would highly recommend this tour.

Lily was a wonderful tour guide. Her knowledge of the area was so complete. We all enjoyed learning about the history of the area and how the Shaw Festival began. My one suggestion would be that we do much more walking and sitting and less standing. Standing makes one extra tired. But we would all highly recommend the tour and Lily as an introduction to the area.
