Eze , Monaco & Monte-Carlo Day and Night from Nice.

What we saw was very nice however the tour was very rushed. It said it was approximately ten hours but we were back in under five. Disappointing that we had to constantly rush. Our guide was fun and quirky but just in too big a hurry. For these reasons I would hesitate to recommend this tour. Viator usually does a good tour but this one missed the mark.

We were excited to see the infamous Monaco and Monte Carlo Casino so we booked this package which included Eze. The tour guide (Rahul) was new but he was very good especially as it was his 2nd tour in English. We booked the 10 hour package which left us about 4+ hours at Monte Carlo but there was an error and the guide thought our tour was the shorter 5 hour so everything was rushed. When 4 of us advised him of our package, he confirmed with his office and it was sorted immediately. The van was good, air conditioned and water was provided but I do suggest to bring more with you. There will be walking, up hill at some stops so be prepared for that especially in the summer heat. Eze was oversold, what you get is a 5 minute photo-op at a lookout point looking back to Nice then you end up at Fragonard for a tour and 99% all sales pitch. You do not learn much about the making of perfumes or get the one on one experience as implied. It is about selling you perfumes and related products. Then off to Monaco to see the prince's palace, you have to walk through the city, taking elevators and more walking to look at the façade of the building. The tour guide gave us 15 minutes for this (this is when he thought we were on the short tour) and said if we want to see the gardens we need to walk to the other side of the rock (we could have been driven everywhere). Then we are driven to Monte Carlo, dropped off for a quick visit until the guide was advised of our extended tour. He offered to drive us to the port to eat as it is too costly in Monte Carlo then walk back up to the casino. We wanted to play slots at the famous Monte Carlo Casino and check it off of our bucket list. First do not forget to bring your PASSPORT. It is a must to enter the casino floor. Unfortunately when we arrived there was construction outside of the casino so some of the front was not accessible. Once inside, it is gorgeous and grand however there was only a few rooms open with limits gaming available. All other areas were blocked off. So we did not get to see much but we did play a few slots. Overall Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo were very underwhelming, did not live up to all the fan fair. But we can say we have been there and seen it. The tour operator was good.

our guide was super kind and informative. however, he was about an hour late to picking us up because someone in his earlier group got lost. obviously it’s important that those guests were found and not just left behind but it is really unfortunate that our group missed out on time that we paid for because of this incident. the timed outline appears to include the time of transportation (which i probably should have realized) but it doesn’t really specify how long the transportation will take out of each event. additionally, i found the tour to have very poor time management. the first half was very rushed. the timed outline said we would have 2 hours in Eze for the parfumerie and exploring. we had about an hour. my partner and i had to rush through the town to get up to the top, take a few pictures of the view, and get back down in time to leave with our group. i was really disappointed to not have time to explore the town and enjoy it because this is something i was really looking forward to. also it is important to note that the town is a relatively steep hill, so if my partner or i had had any sort of disability preventing quick movement, we would not have had time to make it to the top. the timed outline also said we would have 4 hours in Monaco. we were given 35 minutes. finally, we were to have 4 hours in monte-carlo. we were given 15 minutes by the casino and then had to choose if we wanted to stay there for the next 4.5 hours or if we wanted to be dropped off by the port. my partner and i decided to be dropped off by the port because although the outline suggests you go to the casino, it did not mention that there is a dress code. we were not dressed within the dress code to even go into the casino further than the lobby (maybe something i should’ve looked into but why suggest guests enjoy the casino and not even mention that the casino has a dress code). my partner and i found 4.5 hours in the port to be a bit long. we tried to use the time to get dinner and find the palace but we were unable to find the palace. i would recommend adding a stop by the palace or at least giving guests a reference of where it is so they can more easily go find it themselves. in the end, i wish i had organized this day on my own because i believe my partner and i would have been able to enjoy each stop much more and take the time we needed to see everything we wanted at each location.

Fantastic tour. The tour guide was brilliant! Even though monte csrlo was closed due to the grand prix time spent in Monaco made up for it. Xx

Its was a bad experience with the guide that spoilt the trip. He was always in a hurry and didn't show us anything. Name Thibault. Just dropped us in Monte Carlo amd disappeared. We left our bag in the van only to find that another Van has come to pick us up without the bag This guide had probably duplicated a trip with someone else That's why the hurry Feel cheated

Everything Was perfect with the organisations and the driver was excellent. If we come back, sure we will contact again
