Mediterranean Cooking Class & Dinner with View of Nice

I booked an English speaking cooking class and although the host spoke English she had others join the class that only spoke French. And invite a family for dinner who spoke only French. It was very frustrating and I felt like I was no longer apart of the experience. I would not recommend.

Class is not a cooking class. They made an app,salad,dessert already. We cut vegetables for 10 minutes

I was traveling with 4 of my closest friends for a spring break trip to Nice and stumbled upon this class and I am so glad we did! The house was stunning and the entire family that was hosting us was so sweet. We made delicious ravioli and were provided with drinks, snacks, and tiramisu. If I ever find myself in Nice again I will 100% be coming back!

Overall disappointing; significant gap between experience and website teasing. No meditarrenean cooking.

Absolutely delightful evening with a local family. We learned so much and felt right at home. We used fresh ingredients straight from Marie’s garden in the back of her family home. We learned how to make ravioli, in particular, sage lemon and cheese.

We had an amazing evening learning how to cook at a French house. I mentioned I was vegan when I did the reservation and the chef was able to do some modifications to my menu. We had a lovely experience, met new people and ate deliciously.

Just talking and sharing stories. The food was wonderful but the company was the best! Marie and her family were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful home with a spectacular view. Five hour, one of the best nights in France

I really had a wonderful time. The bus mad it to a home in the hills. I initially went to the wrong house but I was directed mento it the right house. Marie and her family have a wonderful home that has been kept in the family for generations. Various fruits and vegetables used for recipes can be found right on the property. We started with a pleasant conversation with the family, followed by some wine and making gnocchi. As everything cooked, we enjoyed various beautifully prepared dishes. The repast and the company were excellent. The only downside was that while I feasted, I later found that mosquitos were also feasting on me. :( I plan to return the next time I come to Nice, but will bring friends AND pretreat everyone with mosquito repellent. The mosquitoes are simply part of the experience in the entire area. I got them in Lyon, Nice, Canne, etc. They come out in the evening, no matter where you are. Forested areas will have more. So as a word of advice, if you dislike them, come prepared. Don’t let them stop you from seizing the day.

My beat friend and I took this class and the experience was lovely. We learned to make several dishes and the view from the dinner table was just stunning. I cannot say enough nice things about this family who hosted this cooking experience. They were so friendly and really fun to hang out with. Truly a unique experience!

Had the best time learning new recipes and having a true Mediterranean experience in her home! Hands on experience and so much fun with great views!
