This activity will end right where it started.
Bring along your own food on the excursion, or enjoy complimentary snacks and nonalcoholic beverages on board. This tour operates in all weather conditions, so dress accordingly.

Board a monohull boat or catamaran with your small tour group and meet your friendly captain and crew, who have thousands of hours of whale-spotting under their belts. Listen as they share their knowledge about this majestic species and feel free to ask any questions. The gentle giants arrive in Hawaii in December and spend time splashing, breaching, feeding and swimming in the warm Hawaiian water. Watch for tail slaps, breaches and water spouting from the whale's blowholes. 

In the unlikely event that you don't see any whales, you can return for a free ride trip and try again.

We had a wonderful afternoon out on the Honu Lani. The crew was exceptional and it was a beautiful day out on the water.. We did not sea any whales as it is very late in the season, but we had a great time and enjoyed the ride.

The trip was on a catamaran, which I did not realize when signing up. That was no detraction from the trip, just not something I knew ahead of time. The crew were all very friendly, nice, and great at answering questions. The only disappointing part was that we saw no signs if whales, though this is never guaranteed and we did get a voucher for a credit on any future excursion with the company. Overall it was fun and the crew did a good job of keeping everyone happy despite no whales.

It was soo good! We saw so many whale up close and far away. One ahead of others was breaching for the other group, he was keep on waiving with his tale. It was amazing! We also saw turtles up close. The crew was nice, helpful, knowledgeable, attentive and offered drinks with snacks. It was our second try because we didn’t see any whale a day before we went out. We completely satisfied and happy!

First the tour guides had us all take off our shoes and stand on the scalding pavement, then the ramp to get on the boat was very unstable and difficult for elderly guests, then the tour was only a little over an hour long. We did not see any whales or even dolphins. They do give you a free voucher to come back, but it is only a paper voucher (unlikely that many people will hang onto it), and they know perfectly well that most people are tourists and will not be back in Hawaii for a long time if ever. Definitely not worth the money, I would not recommend.
