Set sail on the Mo’o with “the original shark boat crew” and learn skills passed down through generations to interact responsibly and safely with sharks and other marine life. Swim and snorkel with native sharks on Oahu’s North Shore.   • If you are prone to seasickness, please take Dramamine 1 hour prior to the tour
  • A minimum of 3 people per trip is required for any trip. If you are booking as a single passenger, we will contact you if the minimum trip requirements are not met.
  • Near public transportation
  • Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level

Great experience. Really enjoyed the trip. Crew was friendly and made trip especially enjoyable. Typically 3-4 Galapagos sharks around us with as many as 6. Felt safe at all times. Beautiful clear blue water. Safety divers took pictures and videos of us and sharks and sent them to us at the end of the trip. Really nice bonus. Highly recommend Islandview Hawaii.

The crew were awesome, friendly and accomidating. They made us all feel welcome and ready right away. Getting into the water was the scary part once I was in however, I just felt in awe of how beautiful everything was. The ocean is the most stunning color of blue, we could hear the whales singing and the sharks shimmered. They also came right up to us. It was one of the most incredable experiences of my life and one I'll remember forever.

If you want to swim with sharks, careless, Island View Hawaii was the perfect place to do so! The company is tan by locals. Everyone was knowledgeable, super fun, & extremely helpful. We were able to see jellyfish, whales, dolphins, & sharks in our tour! We spent a lot of time in the water, there were a lot of sharks to see. The guides also took a lot of pictures & videos of us all, they turned out awesome. This was a first time experience for us both & we were not disappointed. We will be coming back. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Island View for a great experience!

Nice crew, fun guys, great new snorkeling equipment. We enjoyed the review ahead of time and the “no egos, no judgment” attitude. I do recommend reading a little bit to educate yourself ahead of time because the review is very brief. And as much as I enjoyed the crew and their fun approach, I don’t think it’s a good idea to joke about being shark lunch with people who are new as guests are already a bit anxious. Save the fish food jokes until afterward! ;). For the money, it would have been better to have either more time to take a break and get back in, and some fruit or other snack on the way back.

An amazing. memorable experience. I would say once in a lifetime but we will definitely go back. Stupidly asked the kids whether we wanted to go see the sharks with or without a cage and there was no turning back. We scuba dive as a family and have met some sharks along the way but despite just snorkeling on this trip you really come face to face with these inquisitive, majestic creatures. The guys on the boat are chilled, explain the process and make you feel comfortable. If you are about to book this, I am jealous.

Wonderful tour! We saw multiple sharks during the tour and the sharks are so peaceful. I liked the small boat tour experience as we got so much attention from safety divers and felt safe and cared. The crew here were the best I have ever seen. I am a beginner swimmer and I did not know how to use the mask. The safety diver stayed with me all the time and made me felt secured/cared (almost like a one on one private tour). Highly recommend!

With the exception of the snorkel equipment (reason for the low rating) the trip was great. They stated many times this is more of an advanced snorkeling trip with the sharks (which were magnificent), even so, they should have snorkel gear that was more advanced. The type that keeps water out instead of you having to "get use to it" by swallowing a ton of ocean water 3 miles off the coast of the Oahu North Shore. Other companies do have advanced snorkel gear and my mistake for not looking deeper into it. The crew and experience was awesome with that one exception.

AMAZING experience! The captain and crew were so nice and extremely helpful. What I loved about this tour was that it was you were truly open water. You could freely swim around. You can’t bring in your own cameras but it’s for the best because the crew takes the photos for you so that you can truly enjoy the experience and get the most out of it. The last 10 minutes in the water you could dive down and get the really cool photos with sharks in the background. If you get motion sickness take some medicine before, they will not end the experience early. They also provide a raft for people who are not strong swimmer. I felt very safe in the water with the crew and would 10/10 recommend this experience with this company to everyone!

Crew was awesome, kept the mood light and humorous but instilled the seriousness of the dive at the same time. Explained step by step their plan and executed it as described. Plenty of sharks around the entire time. Even had several Hammerhead sharks swimming further below!!!
