Departure Point: Gunstock Ranch Trails Office Directions: Gunstock Ranch is located 2 miles North of the Polynesian Cultural Center, between the towns of Laie and Kahuku, Oahu. We are a 10-minute drive from Turtle Bay Resort.

This activity will end right where it started.
  • Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
  • Minimum age is 7 years
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit
  • Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
  • We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
  • Small phones or small cameras allowed
  • Stroller accessible
  • Near public transportation
  • Not recommended for travellers with back problems
  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • No pregnant riders allowed please
  • Most travellers can participate
  • CHECK-IN TIME: Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the start time of tour

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The horses were beautiful and very easygoing. First time riding for some in our group. Lots of fun. Would definitely recommend. Also had a really great guide Jordan was lots of fun and she made it all interesting and interactive.

We did the private sweetheart ride. Everyone was SO friendly! Alex was our wrangler, and she was so personable and a boy to ride along with. Our horses were fantastic, well trained and such a relaxing ride. Highly recommend Gunstock!

We had the option to book that other famous horseback riding location on Oahu or this one. I would say this one was hands down much better experience. A personalized horseback ride with just us and our guides. A beautiful picnic spot on top of a hill. Would be a great spot for a proposal or any other special celebration. Beautiful. Loved this ranch horseback ride.

We chose to do this tour on the morning of my birthday. It was absolutely beautiful and it was a perfect way to start off our day. Gun Stroke ranch is a 1,000 acre ranch owned for two generations that has breathtaking views. Our guide Briela was very knowledgeable and the horses were well-behaved. The whole ride was very peaceful and relaxing. I rank this ride as one of the best that I’ve had in my life.
