A:The boat ride is NOT included. You may reserve Boat Tickets at www.recreation.gov. Boat tickets are released daily, one week in advance, and cost $1.00 per person.

A:We highly recommend purchasing your boat tickets online 1 week prior to your visit date, however, there may be standby tickets available on the day of your visit by asking the Ranger on duty outside the theater.

These tickets were not for the actual ship tour. In order to tour the USS Arizona you had to reserve a time through a different website. With these tickets you had to sit in a 5 hour standby line. We ended up buying separate tickets for the submarine tour and skipped the USS Arizona all together

Getting boat tickets is hard to get there at 7 AM

Maybe the audio tour would’ve been nice, the problem is you need boat tickets to make it onto the memorial and it is extremely hard/impossible to get those. Tickets sell out as soon as they are released. It is not the vendors fault, it’s the way the memorial is organized in this way. After hours of waiting in standby line to get tickets due to unable to get them online, we gave up and left. We spent about $100 on Uber round-trip to get there, plus the price of this audio tour and did not make it to the memorial. We did enjoy the VR
